Colton Underwood tied the knot with political strategist Jordan C. Brown in a beautiful, scenic ceremony in Napa Valley.
That’s right, Colton Underwood is no longer a bachelor. After starring in three seasons of the reality TV series – including The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise – the 31-year-old is ready to settle down with his handsome hubby. Underwood and Brown got hitched at the Carneros Resort and Spa in California in front of 200 of their closest friends and family. Brown said it was really important to both of them to be surrounded by nature on their big day.
“We wanted trees around and sunshine,” he told People.
Breaking Traditions
The couple stressed that this was not just their wedding day, it was a weekend of adventures for them and their inner circle. “We recognize that a lot of people attending, both of our families and some of our friends, this will be their first queer wedding. We really want to make it special.”
One way of doing that was by taking guests on a “loving walk” as they arrived. The display is a tribute to the same-sex couples who paved the way for others.
“It’s inspired from a coffee table book that I was gifted after I came out called Loving and it’s images of men in love throughout history. We blew them up and put them on canvases and set them around the resort,” said Underwood. “Next to them will be love letters from queer people in the 18th and 19th century that were forbidden or they had to send in secret.”

After the ceremony, where the two men walked down the aisle together before exchanging personal vows and rings, Stanford University’s artistic swimming team put on an underwater show as guests exited.
“We wanted to keep the energy going,” Brown said. “I like to host and bring people together. It’s our wedding, but it’s also a three-day party that we are throwing for our nearest and dearest.”
And the night did not end there! Guests still had a disco-themed pool party, spicy margaritas and chocolate chip cookies to look forward to.
Underwood and Brown’s Road to Love
The former NFL star first met Brown in the summer of 2021. The pair first went public as a couple in December of 2021 and announced their engagement in February of 2022.
“I’ve never been more sure about something,” Underwood said. “He has the biggest heart and he’s such a good friend to all of the people in his life. He goes out of his way to take care of his friends and his family. That speaks volumes. It was one of the first things that I noticed about him.”
The two newlyweds live together with their two dogs, Scout and Zooka.
