Gabby Windey is The Exact Lesbian Icon We Needed on ‘The Traitors’

Gabby Windey’s rise from an ER nurse and NFL cheerleader to a reality TV star and LGBTQ+ icon has been nothing short of remarkable. With her deadpan humor and candid personality, she has captured the attention of audiences everywhere, particularly on TikTok, where she has amassed more than 750,000 followers. Her content often includes biting jokes about men, the Y chromosome, and her thoughts on how lesbians are “taking over the world,” making her a standout voice in the LGBTQ+ community.

In one of her viral TikToks, Windey quips: “They say I need rescuing. Why? Because I’m gaaaAAYY? Well, no buoy, no life alert is going to save me. No, I want to stay stranded on the island of Lesbos. Nobody can save me from this rug-munching tree.” Her mix of humor, defiance, and unapologetic confidence has made her a beloved figure in the queer community.

Now, Windey is a key player on the reality competition show The Traitors, where she has quickly become one of the fan favorites. Though she was initially flying under the radar, she is now one of the last contestants vying for the $250,000 prize. The show has been filled with both beloved reality TV personalities like Bob the Drag Queen and controversial figures like Tom Sandoval. But for many, it’s Windey who has stood out as the show’s shining queer star.

    The Reality TV Journey

Windey’s entry into the world of reality TV began on The Bachelor season 26, where she gained recognition for making it to the top three before rejecting the bachelor’s final rose. She made waves after the breakup, slamming her ex during their public fallout, a moment that resonated with viewers.

Her time on The Bachelorette season 19 further solidified her place in reality TV history. During her time on the show, she got engaged to Erich Schwer, but the engagement was short-lived, with the couple breaking up just two months after the finale aired. Following her stint on The Bachelorette, Windey competed in Dancing with the Stars, finishing in second place.

    Windey Comes Out as Queer

Windey’s most significant personal revelation came in August 2023 when she came out as queer during an appearance on The View. Windey explained that her attraction to women had always been “a whisper that got louder and louder,” but navigating the shame and confusion around her sexuality was a struggle.

“I think when this happens, there’s some shame surrounding it,” she admitted. “I didn’t really know to pay attention to it, but ultimately, I just want to do me, figure it out later.” When asked by host Joy Behar if she’s only interested in women now, Windey responded with a heartwarming answer: “I think so. I think it’s just my girl, she’s the best.”

Windey has made it all the way to episode nine of The Traitors, and fans are hoping she’ll continue her run for the grand prize. Throughout the game, she has formed alliances with fellow queer contestants, including Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and wrestler Nikki Garcia. The trio, dubbed “The Bambis,” quickly became a fan favorite. However, Windey is now the only Bambi remaining in the competition.

New Drag Competition Series ‘Drag House Rules’ Promises Drama, Chaos, and Surprises

A new satirical drag competition series is set to captivate fans of drag culture this week, and it’s not your typical reality show.

Drag House Rules,” which premieres Friday, February 21, on OUTtv, is shaking up the genre with a blend of over-the-top drama, alliances, and unpredictable moments. The show brings together a star-studded cast of seven drag queens—six alumni from RuPaul’s Drag Race and one winner from The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula—to live under one roof and compete for a mysterious $100,000 prize package.

The queens participating in this drama-filled competition include fan favorites Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Laganja Estranja, Rock M. Sakura, and Tammie Brown, alongside Dragula champion Biqtch Puddin’. These queens will face off in a high-stakes game full of twists, turns, and shocking moments.

“Drag House Rules” takes what fans love about drag competitions and turns it on its head. According to the show’s synopsis, the queens will battle it out in a series of challenges that soon give way to chaos, secrets, and broken alliances. As the game progresses, the competition becomes increasingly unpredictable, with each contestant trying to outwit the others to stay on top.

The premise sounds familiar: drag queens competing for a grand prize. But the reality of the show may not be what it seems. Entertainment Weekly, which unveiled an exclusive preview of the series on Wednesday, February 19, suggests the show may be a scripted satire of drag reality TV rather than a traditional competition.

In fact, the preview includes playful hints that the series might not follow the typical reality format. The show’s creators appear to be poking fun at the genre, with quotes like “this ‘competition’ series might not be all that it seems” and “this peculiar ‘contest.’” Furthermore, John Mark Hostetler, the co-director of Trixie & Katya Live – The Last Show, is behind the direction of “Drag House Rules,” signaling that the show is likely a scripted comedy rather than a straightforward competition.

The trailer for the series supports this theory, showcasing the queens acting in exaggerated, over-the-top ways. In the preview, the queens are seen engaging in heated arguments, physical altercations, and coming up with new catchphrases—all while hosted by Tony Moore. The tone appears to be more playful and theatrical, embracing the campy, outrageous side of drag culture.

While the show may not deliver the same kind of nail-biting competition as RuPaul’s Drag Race, it is sure to appeal to fans who love drag and enjoy humor, satire, and unexpected twists. The series promises to deliver an entertaining mix of chaos, wit, and heart, all while giving drag fans a chance to see some of their favorite queens in a different light.

“Drag House Rules” joins a growing trend of drag-related shows pushing boundaries and exploring new formats, from reality competitions to scripted series. The show is designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with each episode, offering a unique and humorous take on the popular drag competition genre.

With the premiere just days away, fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of “Drag House Rules.” If the exclusive preview is any indication, this show is going to be full of surprises, laughs, and plenty of dramatic moments to keep viewers talking long after the credits roll.

Don’t miss the premiere of Drag House Rules on OUTtv this Friday, February 21.

The third season of Heartstopper, which stars Joe Locke as Charlie and Kit Connor as Nick, premiered last fall. However, fans were left without any official confirmation about the fate of a fourth season. Based on Oseman’s webcomic and graphic novels, the show has become a hit for its heartfelt portrayal of a teenage romance, alongside a strong, diverse cast of queer characters.

The series focuses on the developing relationship between two classmates at Truham Grammar School, Charlie and Nick. Alongside them, characters like trans girl Elle (Yasmin Finney), lesbian couple Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) and Tara (Corinna Brown), and the asexual and aromantic Isaac (Tobie Donovan) add depth and representation to the story. The third season also saw Jonathan Bailey in a guest role as an Instagram influencer who captures Charlie’s attention.

While Oseman’s comments about the ongoing efforts for a fourth season offer hope to fans, she has also been clear about her intentions regarding the show’s future. If Heartstopper is renewed for a fourth season, Oseman says it will likely be the series’ final chapter.

“I really, really just want to tell the end of the story on TV and bring all of those characters, their stories, to a close,” Oseman said during an October 2024 appearance on the I’ve Never Said This Before podcast. “So fingers crossed.”

When asked by podcast host Tommy DiDario if the fourth season would indeed be the end, Oseman responded with certainty: “Yeah, for sure.”

Fans of Heartstopper continue to rally around the series, hoping for more episodes that will offer resolution to the characters’ journeys. While Oseman remains hopeful and committed to the show’s continuation, it remains to be seen whether a renewal will be granted.

As the wait continues, Heartstopper fans can take solace in Oseman’s dedication to bringing the story to a fitting conclusion, ensuring the characters and their experiences are fully realized.

  • BBC Dismisses Rumors That ‘Doctor Who’ and Ncuti Gatwa Are Facing Cancellation Over ‘Woke’ Backlash

BBC Dismisses Rumors That ‘Doctor Who’ and Ncuti Gatwa Are Facing Cancellation Over ‘Woke’ Backlash

The BBC has firmly denied rumors suggesting that Doctor Who and its lead star, Ncuti Gatwa, are facing cancellation due to alleged “wokery” in its storylines. The broadcaster called recent tabloid reports “incorrect,” dismissing claims that the long-running sci-fi series is in danger of being axed.

The speculation arose following an article published by The Sun on 17 February, which claimed that Gatwa, who made his debut as the 15th Doctor in December 2023, was planning to quit the show after two seasons. The report also suggested that fans were upset over the inclusion of progressive themes in the storylines, which it referred to as “wokery.”

Despite these claims, the BBC emphasized that Doctor Who remains a key part of its programming. In response to the article, a BBC spokesperson said: “This story is incorrect, Doctor Who has not been shelved. As we have previously stated, the decision on season 3 will be made after season 2 airs. The deal with Disney+ was for 26 episodes, and exactly half of those still have to transmit. And as for the rest, we never comment on the Doctor and future storylines.”

The tabloid article also asserted that the show was facing “abysmal ratings” and that there was backlash regarding the show’s inclusive themes, despite Doctor Who’s longstanding commitment to showcasing queer and diverse storylines. However, in an interview from 2024, the BBC revealed that Doctor Who remains one of the most-watched programs on the BBC iPlayer, and the show continues to be the top drama for viewers under 35.

    Gatwa’s Resilience Amid Backlash

Gatwa, 32, has faced some vocal criticism since assuming the role of the Doctor. In particular, some fans have expressed disappointment with the series’ emphasis on inclusivity, a feature that has been a part of the show’s DNA long before Gatwa’s tenure. However, the actor, who made history as the first Black and openly queer Doctor, has been open about his experience with both support and backlash.

Despite facing homophobic and racist attacks, Gatwa has consistently praised the warmth and love he has received from fans, sharing how they’ve made him feel embraced by the Doctor Who community.

    View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Doctor Who (@bbcdoctorwho)

“I wouldn’t be the only Black lead that’s taken over a sci-fi franchise that would have received that sort of treatment,” Gatwa told Vanity Fair in November 2024. “Unfortunately, those are voices that exist in sci-fi fandoms – but they’re not the only voices.”

Gatwa further described how Doctor Who fans have made him feel like part of a “big nerd family” since stepping into the role. He highlighted how, even during difficult circumstances—such as shooting in extreme weather conditions—there are always dedicated fans waiting outside the studio.

“I just remember feeling a lot of warmth and love, being embraced into a big nerd family. When we’re shooting Doctor Who, there are fans outside the studio or on location every single time, be it at 4am, be it minus-12 degrees,” he said.

    Looking Past the Negativity

While acknowledging that racism and homophobia are still real issues, Gatwa expressed his focus on the positives that have come from his time on Doctor Who. He’s used to navigating criticism, but he chooses to concentrate on the love and support that surrounds him.

“I don’t want to invalidate the very real thing that is racism, homophobia. I don’t act as if they don’t exist or they don’t affect me. They do. But I try to pay it no mind and look at the many, many positives that came from joining the Whoniverse,” Gatwa said.

The actor’s resilience and positivity seem to be paying off, as Doctor Who continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its inclusive storytelling and bold new direction under Gatwa’s leadership. The show remains a symbol of diversity, creativity, and inclusion, resonating with a new generation of viewers.

As the BBC continues to champion Doctor Who and its future, fans can look forward to more thrilling adventures with Gatwa as the Doctor, exploring new stories, characters, and galaxies.

  • Potential Gay Scenes and Incest? What’s Going On With ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3?

Potential Gay Scenes and Incest? What’s Going On With ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3?

The White Lotus is back with a shocking season three that has many wondering how much of a gay storyline viewers will be getting this time around.

Looking at the cast for this new installation for the franchise on HBO, cast members Carrie Coon and Aimee Lou Wood grace the screens alongside others like Natasha Rothwell as Belinda back for another stay at the infamous resort chain.

As far as other members of the cast, many are focused in on none other than Saxon played by Patrick Schwarzenegger and Lochlan played by Sam Nivola.

The two brothers, one of the many dysfunctional groups staying at the hotel, are rich, with the older one with a bit of an arrogant attitude.

Trying to impress his younger brother Lochlan by showing him how to flirt to even teaching him how to embrace his manhood, viewers get a glimpse on how far this character is willing to go to assert his dominance.

While initially going to share a room with his sister, Saxon declares that they should instead share a room together as the boys of the family.

Later in the episode while the two are getting ready for bed in their room, Saxon can be seen shirtless proclaiming to his brother on how to get what he wants in life. From there after a brief pause, Saxon grabs a tablet and ponders on how he will be jerking off in the room next to his younger brother.

After the awkward and long, dramatic pause while the two look at each other, fans sensed the sexual tension between the two brothers.

Fans are in shock over the sexual tension in the scene and people are now assuming that there will be an incest storyline between Saxon and Lochlan. One person tweeted: “Please tell me there’s not an incest storyline.” Another wrote: “what the hell is happening with these brothers on the white lotus.”

However, others praised the TV show for exploring uncomfortable themes. A fan tweeted: “White Lotus season 3 starting with gay incest, bitter middle aged white women and British people oh I’m LIVING.”

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays Saxon, has teased that things get even more “uncomfortable” and Sam Nivola, who plays Lochlan, has confirmed that he has a nude scene.

Speaking at The White Lotus press conference, Patrick said: “There are some uncomfortable conversations between us in the bed that are a little weird to show in front of your family. Episodes 5 and 6, there will be some times that I take some bathroom breaks from the family, or maybe I won’t watch that episode.”

Meanwhile, Sam spoke about his first nude scene and on screen kiss. He said: “Of course, that comes along with a lot of fear and anxiety [but] there’s a few people that I would trust more with footage of my buttocks [than creator Mike White]. He made us feel so comfortable.”

It’s not clear how far the series will be pushing not only the gay agenda this season, but we will see how family dynamics play out.

  • Survival, Secrets & Sapphics: ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 Delivers Its Gayest, Wildest Ride Yet

Survival, Secrets & Sapphics: ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 Delivers Its Gayest, Wildest Ride Yet

The wilderness is calling once again, and the Yellowjackets are answering—whether they want to or not. Season 3 of the hit Showtime-turned-Paramount+ series premieres today, and fans are in for another thrilling, gruesome, and emotional ride.

    What’s Yellowjackets About?

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets follows a high school girls’ soccer team whose plane crashes deep in the remote northern wilderness. The show moves between the past—where the survivors battle the elements, each other, and their darkest instincts—and the present, where they struggle to keep their secrets buried while facing the consequences of their time in the wild.

    What’s Happening in Season 3?

After enduring a brutal winter, the Yellowjackets find themselves in a fragile moment of survival. Tension within the group is at an all-time high, and with leadership disputes threatening their unity, being rescued may be the least of their problems. Meanwhile, in the present day, secrets continue to unravel, exposing deeper, darker truths about who they’ve become.

Season 3 welcomes returning favorites like Melanie Lynskey (Shauna), Christina Ricci (Misty), Tawny Cypress (Taissa), and Lauren Ambrose (Van), while newcomers like two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank join the all-star cast.

    “It’s Very Gay This Season”

One of the standout aspects of Yellowjackets has always been its strong female-led cast and queer representation, both on and off-screen. Sammi Hanratty, who plays teen Misty, reflected on how the show helped her embrace her identity:

“I came out myself during season one as bisexual, and this show created a space where I felt comfortable to do that,” Hanratty shared. “I think that this show is a great representation of just accepting yourself where you’re at.”

And for fans wondering if this season will continue pushing LGBTQ+ representation forward? “Yes, yes. It’s very gay this season,” Hanratty confirmed.

    Owning the Queer, Female-Led Narrative

Jasmin Savoy Brown, who plays teen Taissa, takes immense pride in the show’s representation.

“I am so honored to be a part of such a queer and female show,” Brown said. “Not just that it’s a show about so many women and girls, but that these women and girls are allowed to be messy and strong and f***ed up and manipulative and evil—cannibalistic. Usually, even when we get to focus on girls, they’re kind of undone. They’re pretty but messy. But here, they’re gross and horrible, and we deserve to see that.”

Love, Trauma, and a Few Laughs Along the Way

The deep emotional weight of the series is balanced with the cast’s incredible chemistry off-screen. Liv Hewson, who plays teen Van, emphasized how tight-knit the team has become.

“We’ve grown together a lot over the years that we’ve been making this show, and that’s very special,” Hewson said.

Tawny Cypress, who plays adult Taissa, also highlighted the importance of showcasing queer relationships, particularly older queer couples. “I wish I had representation like this growing up,” she said. “I wish I saw characters that looked like me.”

    Bringing the Darkness to Life

With such heavy material, the Yellowjackets cast has had to develop ways to stay grounded. Kevin Alves, who plays Travis, explained his process:

“For me, I’ve got to walk away until action. Pretty much, I’m by myself for a lot of that. I’m walking, I’m pacing because it’s so heavy in the material that we do, and we have to do our best to do it justice.”

His co-star Alexa Barajas agreed, adding that music plays a big role in setting the tone. “Wearing the big headphones that zone everybody out and just listening to songs that kind of put you in the mood really allows you to drop into it.”

    Expect the Unexpected

As with every Yellowjackets season, there are bound to be shocking moments that leave audiences gasping. Courtney Eaton, who plays teen Lottie, teased an upcoming wild scene: “There’s one this season that I just go like, ‘What were we doing?’”

Alves echoed the sentiment: “We were filming it in the middle of the night, and everyone just goes a little kooky. Yeah, it’s coming.”

    Welcome Back to the Hive

With its signature mix of psychological horror, drama, and dark humor, Yellowjackets is returning in full force. As always, expect shocking twists, more incredible performances, and a healthy dose of queer chaos.

The first two episodes of Season 3 of Yellowjackets is streaming now on Paramount+. New episodes will drop every Friday on Paramount+ and SHOWTIME. Buckle up—it’s going to be a wild ride.

The iconic drag queen asked Rinna who she would choose to play her in a biopic, suggesting three different actresses for various stages of her life—young, middle-aged, and older. Lisa Rinna was quick to offer her picks, starting with Selena Gomez for a younger version of herself, a choice Katya enthusiastically endorsed. “Oh, hell yeah,” Katya responded with a smile.

Rinna then considered Chloë Sevigny for her middle-aged years, admitting that Sevigny’s distinct style would suit the role perfectly. Katya agreed, saying “Sevigny” in approval. For an even younger version, Rinna opted for Jenna Ortega, best known for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams. “Yeah, I think she’d be great,” Rinna said with a nod.

Katya then offered her own picks for a potential biopic. She suggested Amanda Seyfried as a middle-aged version, noting that while Seyfried is typically seen as a blonde, she would make an interesting choice for the role. Rinna seemed intrigued by the idea, saying, “I like it.” Katya also threw in Chloë Grace Moretz, and for the older version, she chose none other than Angelina Jolie.

Rinna was impressed by Katya’s choices, replying, “Well, that’s lovely. I wouldn’t even touch that,” before adding an amusing twist to the scenario. Katya suggested that the movie could include a scene where both Rinna and Jolie, playing versions of Rinna, engage in a dramatic fight with chainsaws. “Bejeweled naked. I agree,” Rinna quipped, embracing the fun and chaos of the idea. Katya elaborated, suggesting that both heads would be chopped off at the end in a dramatic flourish. “That’s so cunt. That’s cunt,” Rinna laughed.

Relationship Realities: Advice for Dating and Marriage

The two also delved into more serious territory when Katya asked Rinna about her thoughts on relationships and marriage, particularly regarding men on dating apps like Grindr. Rinna began by questioning whether people on Grindr were actually seeking marriage or simply casual encounters. “I don’t know how you look for marriage material,” she admitted, suggesting that the traditional playbook for finding a life partner may not exist.

Katya agreed, saying it’s tough to gauge whether someone is “the one” right away. Rinna echoed this sentiment, pointing out that many people rush into marriage without truly knowing one another. “I think a lot of people rush into it,” Rinna said, adding that it often takes a lot of time to truly understand your partner.

“How many dates do you think it takes to tell if someone is the one?” Katya asked. Rinna responded that she thinks it takes at least two years to truly understand someone. “You have to live with somebody,” she continued, explaining that it’s crucial to see a person’s habits and how they adapt to different situations. “When things are nice, they’re nice. But what happens when things are really bad? You want to see how they react.”

Katya agreed, quipping that living in separate houses on separate streets might be the secret to maintaining a healthy relationship. Rinna laughed, noting the difficulty of keeping a long-term relationship intact. “I think what we’ve done and been together for 32 years has been… it’s remarkable. We didn’t kill each other, first of all,” Rinna reflected, sharing her appreciation for her long-standing marriage.

Rinna also acknowledged the challenge of keeping the spark alive in a relationship. “We still like each other,” she said, before adding, “We’re still attracted to each other. Sometimes we’re like, ‘What? How?’ It’s a miracle.”

Katya agreed, noting that lasting relationships are rare, and Rinna’s 32-year marriage is nothing short of extraordinary. “It’s amazing,” Katya remarked.

    Navigating Marriage: Keeping Things Fresh

Rinna shared her thoughts on the secret to keeping her marriage alive and thriving, joking that good “porn” can sometimes help maintain a healthy dynamic. She emphasized the importance of maintaining attraction and mutual respect in long-term relationships, acknowledging the challenge of making it work despite external pressures.

As the conversation continued, Rinna revealed that she has observed a troubling trend among couples who post excessively about their relationships on social media. “I see it every day—people posting all these lovey-dovey photos,” she said. She noted that the public display of perfection often signals trouble ahead. “I think it’s a setup for failure,” she added, cautioning against oversharing on social media. Katya agreed, suggesting that keeping some parts of your life private is the best approach.

Rinna also advised against renewing vows, a practice that some couples do after a significant milestone. “Never renew your vows,” she insisted. “It’s a kiss of death, honey.” Katya quickly added, “Don’t renew your vows or you’ll get divorced,” emphasizing Rinna’s point.

Lisa Rinna Says Gay People Truly Saved Her After ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Final Season

In a lively and candid conversation with drag queen Katya Zamolodchikova, television personality Lisa Rinna for Grindr’s Am I The A**hole podcast.

The two shared humorous insights into everything from personal relationships to the highs and lows of life in the public eye, with Rinna acknowledging the pivotal role the LGBTQ+ community has played in her career.

Becoming a Gay Icon: Rinna Reflects on Her Journey

During their exchange, Katya asked Rinna when she became aware of her status as one of the top gay icons. “I’m aware now because I’ve been told,” Rinna responded. “The gays, they helped me through my really rough year, my really rough last year on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Rinna explained how, during difficult moments on the reality show, the LGBTQ+ community was instrumental in supporting her. “They were there for me, and they pushed me through,” she said, a sentiment that resonated with many of her fans. The actress, who is known for her candidness on the show, has cultivated a strong fan base among the LGBTQ+ community, something she doesn’t take for granted.

Katya responded by reflecting on the unique role gay fans often play in reality TV culture. “I don’t watch the show, but I see how people—it’s almost like a… a moral morality courtroom in a way,” she said. Rinna, laughing, agreed, adding that it’s “so bizarre” how the show can evolve into something that feels more like a societal trial than simple entertainment.

“It’s just a show,” Rinna added. “I look at it like sports. It’s gay sports.” Her comparison of reality TV to sports is particularly apt, as both have loyal followings and are often subject to intense scrutiny from fans. While reality TV can sometimes feel overly dramatic, Rinna seemed to suggest that it’s best enjoyed with the same enthusiasm and detachment that people often reserve for sports.

Katya, ever the insightful interviewer, took a moment to reference an often-quoted sentiment from icons like Judy Garland or Liza Minnelli, who have long embraced the LGBTQ+ community. “The gays have taste,” she said, referencing the deep appreciation and connection that the LGBTQ+ community has with art, culture, and pop icons. Rinna wholeheartedly agreed, acknowledging that the LGBTQ+ community is known for its discerning taste. “They sure do,” she said. “It’s true.”

Reality TV: A Glimpse Behind the Curtain

The discussion then shifted toward the nature of reality television itself, with both Katya and Rinna sharing their perspectives on the genre. Katya, reflecting on her time competing on RuPaul’s Drag Race, recalled how she and her fellow drag queens entered the competition with no formal training or experience in front of cameras.

“It’s amazing what you guys do,” Rinna said, genuinely impressed. “You’ve never been in front of a camera? Just performing?” Katya explained how the drag queens had no expectations going into the show, which made the experience even more challenging. Despite their lack of experience, Katya and the others quickly adapted and became stars in their own right, demonstrating the power of performance and the importance of the LGBTQ+ community in shaping mainstream culture.

Katya, known for her quick wit, noted the odd nature of reality competitions, commenting on how, despite having no formal training, the drag queens were expected to perform under the public’s scrutiny. “It’s so… it’s so cunty,” Katya said, using her signature humor to highlight the tension and high stakes involved in reality TV. Rinna agreed, noting the oddity of shows where individuals are thrust into the spotlight with little preparation.

A Unique Bond with Fans: The Gays’ Unwavering Support

Rinna reflected further on her connection with her LGBTQ+ fans, expressing gratitude for the support they’ve shown her over the years. “The gays supported me and were there for me, and I will never forget that,” she said with sincerity. This bond has helped Rinna navigate the ups and downs of her career, including the challenges of being on a reality show that often pits contestants and cast members against each other in public forums.

For many, Rinna’s authenticity and willingness to embrace her own flaws have endeared her to the LGBTQ+ community. The fans who supported her during tough times on The Real Housewives made it clear that they saw something genuine in Rinna, beyond the drama and the television ratings.

Reality TV: A Love-Hate Relationship with the Public Eye

As Rinna continued to reflect on her career in reality TV, Katya asked her to expand on her thoughts about social media and its role in shaping relationships today. The two discussed the trend of posting personal milestones, such as romantic photos, online. While both agreed that it can be nice to share happy moments occasionally, Rinna was quick to caution against over-sharing.

“It’s like, what are you trying to prove?” Rinna asked, echoing her earlier sentiments about keeping parts of one’s life private. This was a theme that ran through much of their conversation, as both Katya and Rinna agreed that social media can sometimes put undue pressure on relationships, turning them into public spectacles rather than private connections. Rinna also echoed her earlier advice about vow renewals, adding that too many public displays of affection can actually harm relationships.

From her experiences on The Real Housewives to her deep connection with the LGBTQ+ community, Lisa Rinna’s journey has been anything but conventional. Yet, through it all, she remains one of the most beloved figures in reality television, supported by fans who appreciate her openness, humor, and authenticity.
