At 23 years old, Olympic bronze medalist Max Whitlock has achieved more than most gymnasts. In his career Whitlock has competed at World, Olympic and other professional-level gymnastic competitions. In 2012, he competed in the London Olympic Games as part of the British men’s gymnastics team.
Whitlock won a bronze medal at Pommel Horse at the London games and proved he knows how to ride. In celebration of the 2016 Olympic Games, Whitlock collaborated with Gillette World Sport to create a short film highlighting Pommel Horse techniques.

According to the video, the Pommel Horse is “one of the most technically and physically demanding events in gymnastics.” Whitlock says, “You train so hard for many many years, and all this effort and hard work goes into that one performance on that one day.
