It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ryan Kwanten, the former True Blood star, showing off the goods like he did in his iconic HBO role. But thanks to some steamy beach snaps, we’re transported back to the days when he bared it all as Jason Stackhouse. Now 39, the Australian heartthrob was caught on camera peeling off his wetsuit, giving fans a cheeky view of his perfectly toned derrière.

Though these photos offer just a glimpse, it’s enough to remind True Blood fans why Kwanten had hearts racing back in the day. Sure, we’ve seen a lot more of him on screen, but there’s something about this candid beach moment that has us all feeling nostalgic—and a little hot under the collar.
Even after all these years, Kwanten’s beach bod is still looking fine AF, and his toned physique proves he hasn’t lost any of that charm that made him a fan favorite. Here’s to hoping he keeps catching some rays—and changing his clothes—out in broad daylight, because dayum.
