Chrishell Stause Opens Up About That New Viral Look For G Flip Thanks to Bestie Chris Appleton

Australian musician G Flip and reality TV star Chrishell Stause continue to balance their demanding careers and personal lives, demonstrating that love can thrive even amidst hectic schedules.

    Navigating Busy Schedules

During an interview with Gayety at the opening of The Tryst Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Stause shared insights into how she and G Flip manage their time together. The ‘Selling Sunset‘ star let everyone know that sensation G Flip was unable to attend a recent event because they were in the studio preparing for an upcoming world tour. Despite the distance, Stause emphasized their strong connection, stating, “G’s literally stuck in the studio anyway, so it was a perfect time. I’m like, okay, I’m going to go do this. I’ll meet you after.”

    G Flip’s Upcoming Tour

G Flip is set to embark on a world tour, bringing their unique blend of rock and pop music to audiences across the globe. The tour will include stops in Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris, cities that Stause is particularly excited to visit. She expressed her enthusiasm, noting that the tour aligns with a break in her own filming schedule, allowing her to join G Flip on the road.

Stause noted ‘I’m actually going to be able to join them on tour for a little bit coming up,’ She admitted to Gayety. “I’ve never been to any of those places and it falls on a time when I’m off work, so I’m really excited about that. But then I have to go back to work.”

A New Look for G Flip

The couple’s collaboration extends beyond their personal lives. Stause revealed that renowned hairstylist Chris Appleton assisted G Flip with a new look for their upcoming album, which is inspired by 1980s aesthetics. Stause described the process, highlighting the creative teamwork involved in bringing G Flip’s vision to life.

The real estate agent and television star stated, “There’s some real cool edge to it. And so we were trying to think of a look that embodied that, but also that G would really love because they never changed their hair before. So obviously Chris Appleton being the hair master and he’s one of our best friends. So he knew. I was like, “You’re in good hands. It’s going to be amazing.”

Stause continues to be a prominent figure on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset,” with new episodes slated for release later this year. Despite the challenges of filming, she remains committed to the show and looks forward to its audience’s reaction. Once the season airs, she plans to take some time off to enjoy life and focus on personal endeavors.

G Flip Makes an Appearance at Coachella

At the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, G Flip joined Toronto’s alt-rock band The Beaches on stage for a performance that resonated deeply with queer audiences. Their collaboration on the track “Last Girls At The Party” was a standout moment, with G Flip delivering the second verse, which includes the now-iconic line: “If you don’t think straight, it’s your lucky day, I’m open late.” The performance was a celebration of queer identity and community, with lead singer Leandra Earl describing it as “the gayest Coachella I’ve ever been to.”

The Beaches’ set also featured a surprise cameo from Canadian comedian Veronika Slowikowska, who joined the band in a playful backstage TikTok to mark the occasion. The band’s new single “Last Girls At The Party” is already climbing the charts, debuting at No. 35 on Billboard Canada’s Modern Rock chart.

    Maintaining a Strong Relationship

Despite their busy schedules, G Flip and Stause have found ways to maintain a strong and supportive relationship. They prioritize communication, often staying connected through FaceTime and planning time together when their schedules align. Stause expressed her admiration for G Flip, stating, “We adore each other. We’re having so much fun and we’re excited for our future. We’re so cute together.”

G Flip and Chrishell Stause exemplify how two individuals with demanding careers can maintain a strong and supportive relationship. Their ability to balance work, creativity, and love serves as an inspiration to many, proving that with mutual respect and understanding, it’s possible to thrive both professionally and personally.

As they continue their respective journeys, fans eagerly anticipate G Flip’s upcoming world tour, new episodes of “Selling Sunset,” and the couple’s future collaborations. Their story is a testament to the power of love and the importance of staying true to oneself.

  • Chrishell Stause Calls Out Bre Tiesi Over MAGA Post and Slur Against Partner G Flip in ‘Selling Sunset’ Feud

Chrishell Stause Calls Out Bre Tiesi Over MAGA Post and Slur Against Partner G Flip in ‘Selling Sunset’ Feud

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is once again speaking out in defense of her partner, Australian musician G Flip, amid a swirl of social media controversy and behind-the-scenes tension with her castmates.

In a series of Instagram Stories posted last week, Stause called out fellow cast member Bre Tiesi for promoting a politically charged brand and for allegedly using an outdated and offensive term to refer to G Flip, who is nonbinary.

“Some people are GREAT for TV, but when it comes to talking about our real issues (using slurs etc), they tend to be cut,” Stause wrote over a screenshot of a promotional post by Tiesi for a company called MAGA Bracelets. “So use this as a guideline when you watch season 9.”

The MAGA Bracelets brand, according to promotional materials, markets itself as selling “patriotic conservative jewelry.” Tiesi has since apologized, claiming she was unaware of the affiliation and stating in an Instagram Story, “I am far from MAGA” and “I cannot apologize enough for the oversight here.”

Influencer Jennifer Stano also came to Tiesi’s defense, explaining that Tiesi had been sent an evil eye bracelet from a company called Lavara Verse and that the promotional material included a card from a related brand — MAGA Bracelets — without Tiesi’s knowledge of the connection.

Despite the apology, the controversy didn’t end there. Stause continued addressing the issue on her Instagram, pointing to a People report from April 2024 that detailed a lawsuit involving Tiesi and three former employees. The suit accuses Tiesi of “emotional distress, loss of earnings, and loss of employment benefits,” with the plaintiffs claiming they were “harassed, discriminated against, and/or retaliated against on the basis of their sex, gender, and/or sexual orientation.”

Tiesi has denied all allegations made in the suit.

Stause emphasized that her concerns go beyond politics. “Finding out how she referred to my partner will not make the show, but no this is not just a political thing to those saying that,” she wrote.

Stause added that production limitations due to the lawsuit forced cast members to “tiptoe around the real issues while filming.”

She later shared the dictionary definition of the word “transvestite,” labeling it an “outdated and often considered offensive term.”

    Photo: Instagram (@chrishell.stause)
    Photo: Instagram (@chrishell.stause)

“Not my job to teach her that this term is EXTREMELY outdated, but here’s a free education,” she wrote. “And if my partner WAS trans, they are not, I would happily love them exactly the same. GTFOH. Someone take my phone.”

G Flip, who began dating Stause in 2022 following her split from Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim, identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. While some nonbinary individuals identify as transgender, others do not.

This incident isn’t the first time Stause has had to advocate for her partner’s identity on the show. During a 2023 episode, she corrected castmate Marie-Lou Nurk, who misgendered G Flip by using “she/her” pronouns.

“Okay, my partner is nonbinary, they use they/them pronouns, this is a simple thing,” Stause told Nurk on camera.

She also addressed tension with Nicole Young during the Season 7 reunion episode. Stause accused Young of liking an Instagram comment that read, “I was hoping the lesbian chick was off in Australia this season and not on our screens.”

“First of all, say whatever you want about me, I’m a tough bitch,” Stause told Young during the reunion. “But don’t go after my partner. Ever.”

“Listen, I will own it. I’ve been a bitch to you. I hate you. I own it… If you’re gonna literally go to homophobic people and cheer them on because they hate me for that reason, that is hate, Nicole.”

While Netflix has yet to officially announce a ninth season of Selling Sunset, Stause and several cast members have confirmed that filming has already taken place.

  • Bob The Drag Queen Says Kandy Muse, Bianca Del Rio, and Monét X Change Would Dominate on ‘The Traitors’

Bob The Drag Queen Says Kandy Muse, Bianca Del Rio, and Monét X Change Would Dominate on ‘The Traitors’

The Traitors alum Bob The Drag Queen just nominated some of her fellow icons as part of the upcoming potential future casts.

Speaking with Gayety at the Queerties, the star stated that fellow drag queens like Kandy Muse, Monet X Change, and Bianca Del Rio would be smash additions to the reality series and potentially take home a win for queens alike.

Actor Alan Cumming recently revealed that he fought to ensure more LGBTQ+ representation on season 3 of The Traitors, the competition series airing on Peacock. Cumming, who served as the host of the show, explained that he lobbied for greater visibility of queer contestants, believing that it was crucial for LGBTQ+ individuals to be seen and represented in mainstream media.

The Traitors is a high-stakes reality competition where a group of contestants, divided into “Traitors” and “Faithfuls,” played a game of deception. The Traitors had to “murder” the Faithfuls—eliminating them from the game without being discovered. The Faithfuls, on the other hand, work together to identify and oust the Traitors. If the Faithfuls succeed in eliminating all the Traitors, they won a prize of up to $250,000. If any Traitors remained in the game at the end, they walked away with the money.

Season 3 of The Traitors featured a diverse group of contestants, including reality TV stars Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules, Sam Asghari (former spouse of Britney Spears). Other notable participants included Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset and Bob Harper from The Biggest Loser.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cumming, shared his thoughts on why LGBTQ+ viewers could relate to the show’s dynamics. He pointed out that the central theme of The Traitors—hiding one’s true identity in order to survive—paralleled the experience of many queer individuals who had to conceal aspects of their identity in order to navigate societal challenges.

“Something about queerness is that you understand the concept of having to hide something about yourself, so that’s very similar to the experience of The Traitors,” Cumming explained. He emphasized that LGBTQ+ people often experienced a heightened sense of awareness about being different, which made the game’s theme of deception and concealment resonate on a personal level.

Cumming also spoke candidly about his efforts to bring more LGBTQ+ representation to the show. While the previous season of The Traitors had seen diversity in race and gender, Cumming felt that LGBTQ+ representation was lacking. He stressed the importance of visibility, explaining that the representation of queer and trans individuals in media was essential for fostering acceptance.

“It’s exposure therapy, it’s visibility. And you have to do it in every small way you can,” Cumming said. “We need to see that trans people are everywhere. They felt more comfortable to be visible in the last couple of decades. But historically, there’s always a backlash against change, and we were in the midst of a huge one right now.”

Cumming’s comments reflected his commitment to advocating for LGBTQ+ visibility in all areas of life. He further added, “My response to that is to push back and say, ‘No, we’re not going to hide. Here are those people.’ And if I had a chance to help do that by just saying to the producers of The Traitors, ‘We need to make sure there’s more queer and trans people on the show,’ I would.”

The need for greater visibility of LGBTQ+ people in reality television was especially pressing given the political climate at the time. In recent years, Pride celebrations had become a focal point for political discourse, with conservative opposition to LGBTQ+ rights growing louder. A report from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) had highlighted a record spike in LGBTQ+ hate during Pride Month 2023, with incidents of hate and extremism becoming more prevalent across the country.

She made waves after the breakup, slamming her ex during their public fallout, a moment that resonated with viewers.

Her time on The Bachelorette season 19 further solidified her place in reality TV history. Windey has made it all the way to episode nine of The Traitors, and fans are hoping she’ll continue her run for the grand prize.
