Miley Cyrus Teases Big Plans for Hannah Montana’s 20th Anniversary

It’s been nearly 20 years since Hannah Montana first hit Disney Channel, and Miley Cyrus says she’s ready to mark the occasion in a big way.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio, the 32-year-old singer and actress revealed she has something “really, really special” in mind for the beloved character’s milestone anniversary.

    A Role That Changed Everything

Cyrus rose to fame playing Miley Stewart, a teenager leading a double life as a regular high schooler by day and global pop star Hannah Montana by night. The series ran from 2006 to 2011 and quickly became a pop culture phenomenon, launching Cyrus into global superstardom.

Reflecting on the role, Cyrus said, “Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this kind of… this me,” acknowledging just how foundational the show was to her current career.

Last year, she became the youngest person ever named a Disney Legend, a rare honor that recognizes individuals who’ve made an enduring impact on the company’s legacy. Naturally, the role of Hannah played a big part in that.

From Teen Icon to Timeless Nostalgia

In her SiriusXM interview, Cyrus expressed genuine excitement about revisiting the world of Hannah Montana. “It’s so crazy to think I started as a character that I thought would be impossible to shed,” she said. “Now, she’s become a part of so many people’s childhoods, something nostalgic rather than limiting.”

Cyrus said she’s looking forward to celebrating the character, especially as so many fans who grew up with Hannah Montana are now adults. “I’ve now been kind of integrated into everyone’s life as the character itself. So that’s exciting to get to celebrate that.”

    “This Is the Life”

While accepting her Disney Legend award in 2024, Cyrus dedicated the honor to her iconic alter ego and her fans. “In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing, loyal fans… To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life.’”

Cyrus previously told fans she’s open to revisiting the character, saying in a 2020 interview, “I try to put that wig on all the time… She’s just in storage collecting dust, and I’m ready to whip her out.”

She added that if Hannah were to return, she’d definitely need a style upgrade: “She’s kinda stuck in 2008, so we’ll need to go shopping with Miss Montana.”

    What’s Next for Hannah?

Cyrus hasn’t confirmed any official plans, but her remarks suggest fans should keep their eyes peeled for a heartfelt, possibly glamorously chaotic tribute to the girl who gave them the best of both worlds.

Whether it’s a one-off reunion, a musical tribute, or even a full-fledged reboot, one thing is clear: Miley is ready to shine that spotlight on Hannah once again.

  • Demi Lovato Teases ‘Fast’ Music Video, Promises a High-Speed Return to Pop Perfection

Demi Lovato Teases ‘Fast’ Music Video, Promises a High-Speed Return to Pop Perfection

Demi Lovato’s pop resurgence is racing toward us, and it’s dressed in full glam.

The Grammy-nominated singer just shared a tantalizing teaser for her new single “Fast,” a punchy pop-dance fusion that might just clinch the title of Song of the Summer. The track drops Friday, August 1, but fans already got a first look at the upcoming music video, and it’s giving main pop girl energy in every frame.

    Lights, Camera, Velocity

In a sleek teaser video posted to TikTok on July 31, Lovato struts down a street like she owns it (because she kind of does), before a rapid-fire montage cycles through scenes of her in various fierce ensembles. It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it preview, but it delivers just enough drama to have fans furiously refreshing their feeds.

“FAST TONIGHT -> 9PM PT” Lovato captioned the post, along with behind-the-scenes photos that hint at a slick and stylish visual rollout.

    Sonic Shift Back to Pop

Lovato’s new track marks a full-speed shift from the grungy, guitar-driven energy of 2022’s Holy Fvck and 2023’s Revamped, which reimagined her classic hits with a punk edge. But this year, she’s racing back to her pop roots with a more celebratory, dance-forward sound.

“I wanna go fast / I wanna go hard / I wanna go anywhere, anywhere you are,” Lovato sings in the track’s preview, set against an electrified, club-ready beat that’s equal parts emotional and euphoric. According to a recent Billboard feature, the track was co-produced by Zhone, who describes the upcoming album as “a celebration of letting go of inhibitions.”

    A Visual and Sonic Reboot

Lovato’s Instagram lately has looked more like a fashion editorial than a feed. The comeback rollout began with a stunning shot of her in a backless black dress and Louboutins, her gaze locked with the camera. “I’m not so sure I’ve ever felt like this before,” she wrote, later revealed as a lyric from “Fast.”

Another caption read, “I can’t deny, it feels so right,” giving fans even more lyrical breadcrumbs to follow.

    Ready, Set, Lovato

With a sizzling new single, eye-catching visuals, and a bold return to dance-pop, Demi Lovato is not easing back into the spotlight, she’s flooring it.

“Fast” drops August 1, and if the teaser is any indication, we’re in for a glittering, high-speed joyride.

Pop icon and fragrance aficionado Kylie Minogue has unveiled her latest olfactory venture, and it’s nothing short of a love letter to her fans. It’s intimate, playful, and deeply personal,” she said in a press release.

Crafted in collaboration with Scent Beauty and renowned perfumer Ilias Ermenidis, the duo of scents was designed to be worn either individually or layered together, like two lovers in harmony or dancing apart.

Ermenidis, who has worked with Minogue for years and also helped refresh her original Darling scent in 2021, described the pair as “a dual fragrance that could be worn apart or together, reflecting the magnetic pull between lovers.”

Meet the Scents: Fleur & Noir

The Lovers collection includes two Eau de Parfums that transport wearers from sunlit flirtations to nighttime allure.

With Lovers, Minogue continues to evolve her scent portfolio while staying deeply connected to the emotions that inspire her art. Available now via KylieMinogueParfums.com, this latest release invites fans old and new to lean into love, in all its many moods.

  • Doja Cat Roasts Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle Ad in Viral TikTok

Doja Cat Roasts Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle Ad in Viral TikTok

Doja Cat is back in her trolling era, and this time her target is Sydney Sweeney’s much-discussed American Eagle campaign. The rapper and pop provocateur recently posted a TikTok video poking fun at Sweeney’s commercial, which has come under fire for what some are calling subtle nods to eugenics.

In the now-viral clip, Doja Cat mimics the ad’s script nearly word-for-word, but with a twist. Using a dramatic Southern accent, she recites:
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color… my jeans are blue.”

That final word, “blue,” is drawled as “blee,” driving the parody home and prompting viewers to both laugh and cringe in equal measure. Doja even confirmed in the video description that her pronunciation was fully intentional.

The Ad That Sparked It All

In the original American Eagle ad, Sweeney, known for her role on Euphoria, is shown lounging on a couch, buttoning up her jeans while softly delivering the same line. The ad ends with a narrator declaring, “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”

Another ad in the campaign takes things a step further. Sweeney is seen walking past a billboard that reads “Sydney Sweeney has great genes,” which is then altered to say “jeans.” Critics were quick to point out the not-so-subtle pun and its potentially unsettling implications.

The campaign quickly caught flak online for playing into language associated with eugenics, the outdated and dangerous pseudoscience that falsely claims some people are genetically superior to others. The blowback prompted American Eagle to quietly remove some of the campaign content from its platforms.

    Doja’s TikTok: Satire or Shade?

Doja Cat’s parody, which has racked up over 22 million views and counting, adds fuel to the ongoing backlash. Many fans praised her for lampooning the tone-deaf campaign, while others questioned whether she was the right person to throw stones, given her own history of internet controversies.

Still, the moment reminded fans of the artist’s razor-sharp wit and unpredictable humor. Whether the video is a pure joke, a critique, or a mix of both, it’s clearly resonating.

Neither Sweeney nor American Eagle has publicly responded to Doja Cat’s take.

    The Internet Reacts

Across TikTok, X, and Instagram, fans and critics alike are sounding off. Some are calling Doja’s video the “perfect response” to a misstep in marketing. Others are more skeptical, suggesting her motivations might be less about social commentary and more about stirring the pot.

Regardless of intent, Doja Cat’s parody has become the internet’s latest obsession, and yet another example of how quickly a few words (or blee) can snowball into cultural critique.

  • Lime Green Sex Toy Halts WNBA Game in Bizarre Fourth-Quarter Interruption

Lime Green Sex Toy Halts WNBA Game in Bizarre Fourth-Quarter Interruption

Tuesday night’s WNBA game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries delivered more than just buzzer-beater excitement, it also served up a surprise prop straight out of an adult novelty shop.

With the score tied at 75-75 and less than a minute left in regulation, play was suddenly interrupted when an unexpected object, a lime green dildo, sailed onto the court at Gateway Center Arena. The item, seemingly tossed from the stands, landed on the free throw line and bounced across the hardwood, halting the game as stunned fans and broadcasters tried to make sense of what had just happened.

Announcers Keep It Professional… Sort Of

The broadcast team, led by Jacob Tobey and Morgan Ragan, reacted with a mix of amusement and confusion.

“Something flies on the court, I think there was something that flew from a fan on the court,” Tobey said as the camera panned to the scene.

“This has been one of a kind… can they figure out who did that and get ’em out?” he added, clearly doing his best to stay composed.

Ragan chimed in with her own assessment: “Even so, when you have a lime green item just kind of fly… that’s when the whistle should be blown because as a player you want to feel protected… and then there’s confusion on that final possession.”

    Security Steps In

The game was promptly paused as police and arena security made their way onto the court to remove the item and investigate the incident. Cameras caught fans pointing toward various sections of the arena, likely trying to help authorities identify the culprit, or just enjoy the chaos.

“Police and security are headed to the area where they’re going to try and figure out the fan,” Tobey said, noting that many in the crowd were quick to “nominate” suspects.

Ragan’s final on-air word on the matter? “Oh my gosh, OK, inappropriate. Get ’em out of here, whoever it is.”

    A Game to Remember

The object was eventually removed, and the game resumed. The Valkyries clinched the win in dramatic fashion, edging out the Dream 77-75.

As of press time, it remains unclear whether police identified or took action against the fan responsible for the rogue airborne accessory.

What’s certain, though, is that this game will be remembered not just for its nail-biting finish, but for a surreal moment that belongs in the WNBA’s blooper reel hall of fame.

  • Dylan O’Brien Finds His Other Half in Dark Comedy ‘Twinless’

Dylan O’Brien Finds His Other Half in Dark Comedy ‘Twinless’

The first trailer for Twinless, James Sweeney’s twisted yet tender dark comedy that took home the Audience Award at Sundance 2025, has officially dropped, and it’s serving grief group chaos, emotional intimacy, and secrets that unravel faster than a therapy circle confession.

Starring Dylan O’Brien in dual roles and Sweeney himself, Twinless explores what happens when two strangers mourning their identical twins meet in a support group and develop a bond that toes the line between healing and codependence. The film hits theaters Sept. 5, courtesy of Roadside Attractions.

    A Connection Born From Loss

The story follows Roman (O’Brien), who’s reeling from the death of his twin brother Rocky (also O’Brien), and Dennis (Sweeney), who is also grieving his twin. The two meet in a bereavement support group specifically for twins who’ve lost their other half. While that premise might sound like the setup for a heavy drama, Twinless walks a more unusual, and darkly comedic, line.

“In Twinless, two young men meet in a twin support group and form an unlikely friendship,” the synopsis reads. “Roman and Dennis both search for solace and an identity without their other halves and soon become inseparable outside the group. But when Roman meets Dennis’ exuberant co-worker Marcie, all is revealed to be not what it seems, as each man harbors secrets that could unravel everything.”

Secrets, Suspicion, and a Whole Lot of Dylan

If you’re expecting a straightforward buddy comedy or grief drama, think again. The trailer shows Roman struggling to navigate the world post-loss, sharing his time between therapy sessions and his increasingly close connection with Dennis. But the closer they get, the clearer it becomes that both men are hiding something, and those secrets may jeopardize their fragile friendship.

O’Brien, known for roles in Teen Wolf and The Maze Runner, delivers a nuanced dual performance as Roman and Rocky. His portrayal earned him a special jury award for acting at Sundance. He admitted to Variety that his voice choices for Roman came from a place of emotional vulnerability.

“My Roman voice, I got self-conscious about it immediately because he pointed it out,” O’Brien said of Sweeney’s direction. “But that’s how I was processing the weight of the very sheltered life he had experienced until that point, and then the tragedy that he experienced, and that’s what the f— came out. [James] was like, ‘I love it.’”

A New Chapter for Sweeney’s Queer Vision

Sweeney, who made waves with his 2019 debut Straight Up, brings his signature offbeat queer storytelling back to the screen. His blend of earnestness and razor-sharp wit was first introduced at Outfest and has since built a devoted following.

Like Straight Up, Twinless taps into themes of identity, mental health, and the awkward, unpredictable nature of human connection, with a queer edge that refuses to play by mainstream rules.

The film also stars Lauren Graham, Aisling Franciosi, Tasha Smith, Abbott Elementarys Chris Perfetti, François Arnaud, Susan Park, and Cree. With its Sundance accolades and a premise that balances absurdity with emotional truth, Twinless is shaping up to be one of the fall’s must-see indie films.

Catch Twinless in theaters starting Sept. 5.

Spanish Goalkeeper Marries His Husband in a Joyful First for Men’s Soccer

Alberto Lejarraga is scoring wins both on and off the pitch. The Spanish goalkeeper, who plays in the country’s semi-professional men’s soccer league, recently tied the knot with his longtime partner, actor and musician Rubén Fernández, in a heartwarming wedding ceremony on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

The wedding was more than just a romantic milestone, it was a bold moment of LGBTQ visibility in a sport still grappling with inclusion.

    Love in the Spotlight

Lejarraga, 30, made headlines in April 2023 when he casually came out on Instagram by posting a kiss with Fernández and thanking him for his support during a promotion campaign with Marbella FC. The moment marked the team’s rise to Spain’s Segunda B division and unexpectedly made Lejarraga a media figure in and beyond the soccer world.

While former U.S. pro Robbie Rogers came out and later married producer Greg Berlanti, Lejarraga is widely believed to be the first active male professional or semi-pro soccer player to marry a same-sex partner while still playing.

What started as a joyful social media post quickly evolved into international recognition, and, eventually, a shared wedding album celebrated around the world.

    “A Great, Great Day”

The newlyweds recently jetted off to Japan for their honeymoon, but the buzz around their big day hasn’t quieted.

“It was a great, great day,” Lejarraga told Outsports, reflecting on the outpouring of love from family, friends, and fans.

Lejarraga emphasized that his coming out was never part of a formal plan, but that hiding no longer felt right. “It wouldn’t be fair to myself, and especially to my partner,” he told TVE. “I wanted to take the step.”

Career Milestones and a New Chapter

Lejarraga’s soccer journey hasn’t slowed either. At the end of the 2023–24 season, he celebrated another promotion with Marbella FC, this time to the third-tier Primera Federación. After signing a one-year contract extension and hitting his 100th appearance (with over 50 clean sheets to his name), Lejarraga transferred back to his hometown club, UD San Sebastián de los Reyes.

Though now playing again in Spain’s fourth tier, his impact continues to rise. In June, he appeared in The Courage to Be Visible, a Pride Month documentary spotlighting LGBTQ athletes in Spain. He joined fellow sports figures including Olympic figure skater Javier Raya, water polo player Víctor Gutiérrez, and race walking champion María Pérez to share candid stories of courage and representation.

    Making Space for the Future

With a wedding album full of joy and a career rooted in both athleticism and advocacy, Lejarraga hopes his visibility inspires others in the soccer world.

“There has still never been an out gay or bisexual male player in Spain’s top divisions,” he said, acknowledging the long road ahead.

“But hopefully, one day, this won’t even be news anymore.”

Until then, Lejarraga’s love story stands as a powerful reminder: being out and proud can be just as game-changing as any goal.

Mariah Carey Declares Herself the Ultimate Diva in New Harper’s Bazaar Interview

Mariah Carey has never shied away from her larger-than-life persona, and in her latest Harper’s Bazaar UK cover story, she leans into the legend with dazzling self-awareness and plenty of sparkle. When asked which female divas she admires, Carey didn’t hesitate: “I’m going to have to go with me!”

    The Diva of All Divas

After more than three decades in the spotlight, Carey has perfected the art of being a diva, not as a flaw, but as a lifestyle. From sky-high stilettos to silk robes and her love of being lit from the correct angle, Carey knows exactly who she is.

“It’s part of my job,” she told Harper’s Bazaar when asked about her glam persona. “What’s the point of a disguise? Just get up, get dressed, go out. If I don’t want to be seen, I’ll stay home.”

Mariah Carey stuns in Harper’s Bazaar UK, calling herself the only diva she admires and insisting she doesn’t age or acknowledge time.
    Photo: Alexi Lubomirski/Harper’s Bazaar UK

She’s not just playing a part, she’s created the part. A five-time Grammy Award winner with 19 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, Carey has helped define pop stardom, and she’s done it unapologetically on her own terms.

    Aging? Mariah Doesn’t Know Her

Carey, 56, has long sidestepped the topic of aging with a wink and a high note. In fact, she insists it doesn’t apply to her.

“I don’t allow it – it just doesn’t happen. I don’t know time,” she said in the interview. “I don’t know numbers. I do not acknowledge time – I have a new song that starts with that line…”

Mariah Carey stuns in Harper’s Bazaar UK, calling herself the only diva she admires and insisting she doesn’t age or acknowledge time.
    Photo: Alexi Lubomirski/Harper’s Bazaar UK

Carey teased that one of her upcoming songs delves into the topic of aging, or rather, her refusal to accept it. Dressed in a chic black mini and later a tailored suit for the Bazaar shoot, the icon looked as radiant as ever, giving further credibility to her anti-aging philosophy.

Her timelessness isn’t just attitude, it’s maintenance. From avoiding cigarettes to only being photographed from her preferred angle, Carey has long preached the power of lighting, beauty sleep, and self-control.

    Mom First, Pop Star Forever

Carey also shared insight into her life as a mother to 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, her children with ex-husband Nick Cannon. “How do I say this? They spend time with him, and they have a good time; they spend time with me, and they have a good time,” she said thoughtfully. “I want to make sure I’m always fair about the situation because it’s tough to grow up with divorced parents.”

    Photo: Alexi Lubomirski/Harper’s Bazaar UK

As for her rumored relationship with musician Anderson .Paak, Carey played it coy, offering only, “I’m a romantic.”

She did name-drop some of today’s top pop girls: Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae, but only because they’re on her daughter’s playlist. “I like to keep up,” she said casually.

    Still Sparkling, Still Unmatched

Whether she’s dodging the concept of time or declaring herself the one true diva, Mariah Carey continues to rewrite the rules of fame with a glitter pen. Her latest interview doesn’t just reinforce her place in the pantheon of pop, it proves she built the stage.

After all, in a world full of divas, there’s only one Mariah.

  • Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty Launches Inclusive Perfume With Accessibility in Mind

Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty Launches Inclusive Perfume With Accessibility in Mind

Rare Beauty isn’t just another celebrity brand, it’s a beauty movement grounded in self-love, inclusivity, and thoughtful innovation. And now, founder Selena Gomez is raising the bar again with the brand’s newest offering: a perfume that’s not just about how you smell, but how you feel while using it.

    Fragrance Meets Function

Rare Eau de Parfum is the first fragrance from the brand, and it comes with an impressive and carefully crafted scent profile. Expect cozy gourmand notes like caramel, pistachio, and vanilla, perfectly layered with warm ginger and grounding sandalwood. It’s sweet, spicy, earthy, and unexpectedly elevated, think dessert with a smoky twist.

But this isn’t just a perfume you spritz and forget. Rare Beauty is also releasing four complementary fragrance balms in Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony Blossom, Fresh Bergamot, and Woody Oak. These balms are designed to be layered with the perfume to help users customize their scent experience, intensify certain notes, or simply make it last longer.

    Beauty That Everyone Can Use

What truly sets this launch apart is the brand’s continued commitment to accessibility. The bottle was developed in partnership with hand therapists and packaging engineers to ensure it’s ergonomic and easy to use—even for those with limited hand mobility.

This design choice stems from Gomez’s own lived experience with lupus, an autoimmune disease that can affect joint movement. Rather than accepting the status quo in an industry that often overlooks disabled consumers, Rare Beauty is taking tangible steps to make beauty products more universally accessible.

This isn’t the brand’s first foray into accessible design. Rare Beauty previously made headlines for updating its viral liquid blush and highlighter, adding a soft sponge applicator that makes blending easier without applying pressure. But Rare Eau de Parfum feels like a deeper evolution, bringing accessibility into a category that’s rarely, if ever, considered from a mobility standpoint.

    Praise From Fans and Advocates

The launch is already making waves on social media, with many users applauding the brand’s innovation and intentionality.

“Selena really came in on a saturated market and actually did something to make it better,” one fan commented.

Another added, “This is so cute and I’m shocked no one thought of it before.”

Rare Beauty may be late to the fragrance party, but it’s arrived with purpose, poise, and something the beauty industry often lacks: progress.

With Rare Eau de Parfum, Selena Gomez isn’t just selling a scent, she’s offering a statement. And it smells like inclusion.

  • Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, and Conan Gray Dance the Night Away at Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball

Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, and Conan Gray Dance the Night Away at Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball

Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball lived up to its name Sunday night, and the energy wasn’t just coming from the stage. A viral clip from her Los Angeles stop at the Kia Forum on July 28 shows pop besties Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, and Conan Gray living their absolute best lives during a performance of “Born This Way”—dancing, shouting lyrics, and clearly having, well, a ball.

The trio, all queer icons in their own right, were spotted in the crowd vibing out with euphoric abandon as Gaga belted her LGBTQ+ anthem. Fans online couldn’t get enough, with many commenting that this crossover of alt-pop royalty felt like witnessing the future of music partying with the queen of the movement.

    Gaga’s Trans-Inclusive Statement

While the crowd served up major energy, Gaga gave it right back with a high-camp, high-fashion spectacle only she could deliver. One of her standout looks during “Abracadabra” and “Judas” included a ruby-red ruffled gown, classic Gaga. But it was the added pink, white, and blue sash that caught attention, a sparkling nod to the trans pride flag and Gaga’s enduring support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Though fans speculated about a giant trans pride cape making an appearance, some of the photos floating online appear to be fan edits rather than the actual tour look. Still, the intention and visual symbolism were clear, and very Gaga.

    Even Nancy Pelosi Couldn’t Resist

Turns out Gaga’s Mayhem Ball has bi-partisan appeal. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was in the audience at the tour’s San Francisco stop the night before, calling the concert “the most fun I’ve had in a long time.” Pelosi, attending with her husband Paul, reportedly danced the entire night and delighted fans with her unexpected appearance.

This wasn’t Pelosi’s first Gaga encounter either, she previously attended Gaga’s 2021 performance with Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall, proving once again that Gaga’s reach spans generations, party lines, and pop eras.

A Night for the Queer Pop History Books

With theatrical visuals, explosive choreography, and a setlist that spans from new tracks off Mayhem to eternal bangers like “Poker Face,” “Shallow,” and of course, “Born This Way,” Gaga’s tour is not just a concert, it’s a celebration. And with Olivia, Chappell, and Conan adding Gen Z glitter to the moment, it’s clear that Gaga’s influence continues to ripple through pop’s brightest stars.

If the viral footage from the L.A. show is any indication, The Mayhem Ball isn’t just a concert series, it’s a safe space, a runway, and a dance floor for queer joy in all its forms.
