  • Dua Lipa Says ‘Yes!’ Pop Star Confirms Engagement to Actor Callum Turner

Dua Lipa Says ‘Yes!’ Pop Star Confirms Engagement to Actor Callum Turner

Dua Lipa is officially off the market, and she’s positively glowing about it.

In a new cover interview with British Vogue, the Grammy-winning pop star confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner. The stylish duo has been stirring up rumors since early 2024, but now the speculation has turned into full-on celebration. “Yeah, we’re engaged,” Lipa revealed, calling it “very exciting” and admitting she’s completely smitten with her ring and her fiancé.

“It’s so me,” Lipa said of the custom piece, designed after Turner reportedly consulted her sister and best friends. If that doesn’t scream husband material, we don’t know what does.

How They Met: A Meet-Cute With a Side of Destiny

Their love story has all the makings of a rom-com. The two first crossed paths at London’s River Cafe, an unplanned run-in while Lipa was dining with her father and Turner was out with friends. The universe (and a helpful co-founder of the restaurant) made the intro. Though they had mutual friends, it wasn’t until a year later, over dinner in Los Angeles, that sparks properly flew.

Call it fate, or just very good taste in books. Turner arrived at that dinner reading the same novel Lipa and her tablemate, Mustafa the Poet, were discussing. That detail had Lipa reminiscing to Vogue: “I was like, that’s the really hot guy from The River Cafe!”

    From Low-Key to Loved Up

Though they’ve only been public for about a year, their relationship has moved steadily and sweetly. From quiet Instagram posts to matching looks at events like the Time100 Gala and Met Gala 2025, Lipa and Turner have perfected the art of the soft launch.

They’ve been seen cuddling backstage at Glastonbury, sneaking kisses in California, and making stylish entrances at BAFTA and BRITs after-parties. But according to Lipa, their romance thrives most behind closed doors. “It’s nice to know the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you so well,” she told Vogue.

The couple even abides by their own version of the long-distance lovers’ golden rule: never go more than two-and-a-half weeks without seeing each other. (Although, she admits, Australia and New Zealand stretched that to three.)

Not Rushing Down the Aisle Just Yet

While the engagement is official, wedding bells aren’t ringing just yet. Lipa is still on her “Radical Optimism” tour, and Turner is busy shooting. For now, the couple is soaking in this pre-wedding glow.

“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be,” Lipa said. “All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

Kids are part of the vision too, eventually. “I love children, but there’s so much more to raising a child than just loving them,” she said.

Fans React: ‘She’s Entering Her Future Nostalgia Era for Real’

Naturally, the internet went feral over the news. Fans flooded social media with reactions ranging from heartfelt congratulations to elaborate wedding dress predictions.

Dua Lipa is doin life right love that her man is up to par with her!!” one user posted. Another added, “Not me actually tearing up.”

And of course, the memes were on point. Some fans joked about rebranding her albums to fit her new era: Radical Optimism & a Diamond Ring, anyone?

Lipa’s Next Chapter Looks Like a Love Song

Dua Lipa’s music has often charted the highs and heartbreaks of love, but this chapter is shaping up to be her sweetest yet. With a partner who reads the same books, respects her independence, and helps design perfect jewelry, it’s no wonder she’s glowing.

While the timeline to the altar may be TBD, one thing’s for sure: Dua Lipa is dancing her way into forever.

Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan Redefine Love with and Traditions That are Uniquely Theirs

Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan are more than just a handsome Hollywood couple—they’re a modern queer love story redefining what it means to build a life together, one joyful tradition at a time.

    From Interview to “I Do”

Their journey began in 2016 when Vaughan, then a TV host, interviewed Bennett to promote Halloween Wars. Bennett later revealed that he felt an immediate connection, asking a producer, “Am I about to meet my future husband?” Vaughan, on the other hand, felt a spark during a photo they took together.

The couple got engaged in 2020, with Vaughan composing and performing an original song for the proposal. They married in March 2022 in a beachside ceremony in Mexico, surrounded by 104 friends and family members.

    Crafting New Traditions

Bennett and Vaughan have been intentional about creating traditions that reflect their unique bond. They designed custom engagement rings with Kay Jewelers, featuring diamonds that face outward during engagement and inward after marriage, symbolizing their shared journey.

They’re making new memories on trips like they did this Memorial Day weekend to Palm Springs. Jonathan sported a fiery, red speedo and even posted to Instagram, “Got into my husband’s swimsuit drawer.” To which his husband commented, “I zoomed.” Perhaps a new tradition in the making?

  • Antoni Porowski Opens Up About One Emotional Coming Out Email Sent to His Father

Antoni Porowski Opens Up About One Emotional Coming Out Email Sent to His Father

Queer Eye” food and wine expert Antoni Porowski offered a deeply personal and candid account of his coming out experience to his father, alongside insights into his complicated family life, during an emotional interview on “Your Mama’s Kitchen,” the Audible podcast hosted by award-winning journalist Michele Norris and produced by Higher Ground, Barack and Michelle Obama’s media company. The episode, which premiered Tuesday, May 27, provides a rare glimpse into the private world of the Emmy Award-winning television personality.

Porowski’s discussion with Norris delved into the complexities of his familial relationships, including a decade-long estrangement from his mother and the profound impact of his father’s past affairs on the family dynamic. His honesty marks a significant moment, particularly as the LGBTQ+ community celebrates Pride Month, emphasizing the diverse and often challenging journeys individuals undertake to embrace their authentic selves.

A Flight, an Email, and a Father’s Quiet Love

Porowski revealed that he never officially came out to his mother and shared how a fear of flying led him to tell his father he was in a gay realtionship.

“I’ve dated men and women on and off,” Porowski said, reflecting on a relationship he had before Queer Eye. “As I was heading to the airport, I was thinking, ‘If this plane crashes, he’s not going to know this really important part of my life.’ So I sent him an email.”

The email was brief but heartfelt: “Hey, I just wanted to thank you for a really lovely weekend. About to take off. I just want you to know that I love and I am loved,” Porowski recalled writing, adding that he also shared his then-partner’s name.

Porowski didn’t hear from his father for nearly two weeks. When he finally called, his dad casually described his day before addressing the email: “Oh yeah, I think that’s great. I can’t wait to meet him. Let me know when you guys want to come to Vermont,” his father said.

“He’s an onion,” Porowski said affectionately. “It takes a while. I always joke that he’s like a fully baked cake—I’m not going to change him. I just need to accept him and embrace that bit of frosting.”

A Childhood Marked by Chaos and Silence

Porowski also shared how his upbringing in a perfectionist household left emotional scars. “There were several affairs, before and after I was born,” he said. “It wasn’t a house where I could bring friends over after a bike ride. The house was too stressful. It had to stay immaculate.”

He and his sister avoided bringing significant others home, regardless of gender. “We always went to someone else’s house who had a candy drawer and cozy music. My house—you could eat off the floors.”

Porowski described how this domestic “perfection” masked deeper dysfunction. “My mom tried to control the chaos in the home by keeping everything pristine,” he explained.

When his parents divorced, he refused to take sides. “That’s kind of at the core of why I was cut off by my mother,” he said. “There are other reasons, I’m sure, but I stayed in touch with my dad. And later I realized both of them had been unfaithful. It’s never black and white in relationships.”

Today, his contact with his mother is minimal: “I reach out to her at Christmas and on her birthday. Just a little email or text—and that’s it.”

    Therapy, Self-Forgiveness, and Cultural Shifts

Porowski, who began therapy at 17, spoke openly about the emotional work he’s done to reach a place of healing. “Cutoffs are such a massive part of culture right now,” he said. “It’s something more than one therapist has told me is happening across society. I think we do need to talk about it.”

He also shared a deeply personal realization from therapy: “It’s like that Good Will Hunting scene—‘It’s not your fault.’ It took me 20 years of work to be able to say, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong. I’m not a bad person.’”

A Mother’s Lost Dreams and the Power of Food

Reflecting on his love of cooking, Porowski said the kitchen was the one place his mother found joy. “She was clearly in her element,” he recalled. “It was chaotic at home, but when she cooked, she was focused and happiest. It’s the same for me.”

Porowski believes his mother’s creativity was rooted in unfulfilled ambition. “She was in med school in Poland, but she got pregnant young and left her dreams behind. She had to put that energy somewhere—and she put it toward food.”

Though their relationship remains fractured, Porowski’s empathy endures. “She came from a very toxic upbringing, a lot of abuse, a lot of betrayal. It couldn’t have been easy. What you said kind of winded me a little emotionally,” he told host Michele Norris.

Antoni Porowski’s full interview is available now on Your Mama’s Kitchen via Audible and other podcast platforms. His honesty offers a powerful message of resilience, identity, and healing—just in time to honor Pride.

  • JoJo Siwa Sparks Romance Rumors with Chris Hughes After Lyric Switch at Birthday Show

JoJo Siwa Sparks Romance Rumors with Chris Hughes After Lyric Switch at Birthday Show

JoJo Siwa may be singing a new tune—and fans are convinced it’s about fellow Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes.

Speculation is swirling around Siwa and Hughes after a recent performance in Mexico, a cozy birthday celebration, and some not-so-subtle social media content—despite the duo insisting their relationship is platonic. Could romance be on the horizon, or are they just really, really close friends? Let’s break it all down.

From Reality TV to Real Chemistry?

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes first met while filming Celebrity Big Brother UK, where their on-screen connection immediately caught viewers’ attention. During their time in the house, the two were spotted cuddling, kissing, and sharing emotional moments—despite the controversy surrounding their 10-year age gap. Siwa is 22; Hughes is 32.

At the time, Siwa was still publicly linked to Australian influencer Kath Ebbs, 27. That relationship has since ended, and fans are now dissecting every post, lyric, and glance between Siwa and Hughes for clues about what might be blooming.

    Birthday Bliss and Big Clues

On May 21, Siwa turned 22 and shared a series of Instagram photos from her birthday week, many of them featuring Hughes. In the first photo, Hughes is shown adoringly looking at Siwa as she rests her head on his shoulder. Other snaps show the pair sharing breakfast—Siwa sipping from a mug emblazoned with Hughes’ face—and a sweet video of Hughes surprising her with hand-wrapped gifts.

“The week I’ll remember for the rest of my life,” Siwa captioned the carousel, calling the celebrations “magical,” “meaningful,” and “absolutely beautiful.”

Hughes also took to Instagram, sharing his own set of memories from the week, writing: “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest…”

    Fans? Officially losing it.

The Lyric Change Heard ’Round the Internet

If fans weren’t already suspicious, Siwa sent speculation soaring after her live performance of Bette Davis Eyes in Mexico. In a cheeky twist, she swapped the original lyric “She’s got Bette Davis eyes” with “Chris Hughes’ eyes”—while Hughes was in the audience.

    Naturally, TikTok lit up.

“Chrisss Hughes’ eyes. No stopppppp I am too invested in this,” one user wrote. Another added, “Omg JoJo and Chris we are literally all rooting [for] you, seriously made for each other.”

Others joked: “Please just put us all out of our misery Jojo and tell us you’re married already,” and “I cannot tell if this is a hard launch or if you guys are platonic…”

So… Are They or Aren’t They?

In a joint interview on This Morning following their Big Brother exit, both Siwa and Hughes emphasized their bond was platonic. When asked whether there’s potential for something more in the future, Siwa played it cool: “Whatever life does, life will do.”

She also used the show to speak openly about her evolving identity, noting that she now identifies as queer rather than strictly lesbian. “I think that’s really cool, I’m switching letters. I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q, baby!” she said with a laugh.

Whether Siwa and Hughes are besties or something more, the internet is hooked—and clearly, so are they.

    Early Encounters and Self-Realization

However, within a six-month period, he lost his virginity to both a girl and a boy, experiences that played a pivotal role in his understanding of his sexuality. “I liked both of those experiences,” he shared, emphasizing that these moments helped him shed feelings of shame and accept his identity.

The actor also discussed a significant encounter with a male best friend, which further solidified his self-acceptance. “That sort of shame or whatever evaporated immediately,” he said. “I was like, ‘Yeah! I enjoyed that!’”

    Coming Out and Public Perception

He explained that those close to him were already aware of his sexuality, and he felt no need to make a grand declaration.

Reflecting on his time during Glee, McHale revealed that he chose not to come out publicly due to concerns about a partner’s family’s reaction. “The person I was with came from the most accepting family, but one of the family members, he was terrified of them finding out,” he said.

    A House, a Family, and a Proposal

“On the day we got the keys, everyone was looking at their rooms and roaming the home,” Jones shared. “We were in our primary room, and I had the kids come in one by one and hand him congratulations notes with ‘I love you’s and descriptions of what he’s meant to them.”

Simon, thinking it was just about the house, had no idea what was coming next. “I got on one knee, and boom,” Jones added with a laugh.

    A Diamond Surprise

Simon was genuinely caught off guard by the proposal—something he admits rarely happens.

“I was completely surprised,” he said. “Normally, I would have some sort of idea about a thing. But [Obio] involved the children and everyone important to me, and no one said a thing.

    Engagement First, Planning Later

While the couple is looking forward to tying the knot, they’re not rushing into wedding planning just yet.

“We’re going to give ourselves another month to stop mistakenly calling each other ‘boyfriend’ and then jump into planning mode,” Jones joked.

Simon echoed the sentiment, adding, “I think within a month or so, we’ll decide if we want a wedding planner or not. For now, we’re just taking a moment to be present with it.”

A New Chapter After Coming Out

The engagement comes just months after Simon publicly came out as gay in a heartfelt video shared on National Coming Out Day.

“To the ones who feel like now is the time, to the ones who feel like maybe later, to the ones who may never come out,” he said in the video. “I want to say to myself, ‘Happy National Coming Out Day.’ I have decided to embrace myself fully—all the parts of me.”

Simon described how he once saw his sexuality as “the biggest curse” in his life, but now calls being part of the LGBTQIA+ community “the biggest blessing.”

“I have decided that I am enough,” he added. “And I want to thank everyone who has helped me get to that place where I feel seen, where I feel like I belong, where I feel loved.”

    What’s Next for the Couple?

While there’s no official date or guest list just yet, one thing’s certain: love is very much in the air. With Simon and Jones now engaged, and Simon living fully in his truth, this next chapter looks as bright as ever.

And yes—we’ll be watching closely for those wedding updates.

  • David Geffen Files for Divorce from Donovan Michaels After Two Years of Marriage

David Geffen Files for Divorce from Donovan Michaels After Two Years of Marriage

Billionaire media mogul David Geffen, 82, has reportedly filed for divorce from his husband, David Armstrong — better known by his social media moniker Donovan Michaels — after two years of marriage. The split, first reported by TMZ, cites the ever-classic “irreconcilable differences.”

But the real headline? There was no prenup.

    From Superyacht Selfies to Splitsville

Geffen and Armstrong, 32, have kept their relationship largely under wraps — with the rare exception of their glamorous cameos together aboard Geffen’s $400 million superyacht. According to The New York Post, the couple met in 2020 when Armstrong worked as Geffen’s personal trainer. The rest, as they say, is history. Or in this case, legal paperwork.

The pair’s quiet romance became Instagram official during one of their high-seas escapades, but little else was made public. And while their wedding date remains hazy, they were spotted arriving together at a New York City heliport in 2023, fueling marriage rumors that now seem to be confirmed by the divorce filing.

A Legacy in Music, Film, and Media

David Lawrence Geffen (born February 21, 1943) is a pioneer in American entertainment. In music, he co-founded Asylum Records in 1971 with Elliot Roberts, launched Geffen Records in 1980, and later created DGC Records in 1990. He continued shaping the industry by co-founding DreamWorks Records in 1996 alongside Mo Ostin, Michael Ostin, and Lenny Waronker.

Geffen also made waves in film, founding the Geffen Film Company in 1982, and later teaming up with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg to launch DreamWorks SKG in 1994. With a net worth estimated at over $9 billion, he remains one of the most influential figures in entertainment history.

Love, Labels, and a Curious Past

Armstrong, who once used the alias Donovan Michaels online, has his own curious public profile. His now-dormant Instagram account (@donovan_michaels) hasn’t been updated since 2018, yet still boasts more than 14,000 followers.

David Armstrong aka Donovan Michaels. Photo: Instagram (@donovan_michaels)
    Photo: Instagram (@donovan_michaels)

    Photo: Instagram (@donovan_michaels)

A 2023 New York Post interview with one of Armstrong’s alleged ex-girlfriends revealed that he had previously dated women — and that she wasn’t surprised by his eventual marriage to Geffen. “He’s very attractive,” she noted. “He was always getting comments from gay men online.”

    No Prenup, No Problem?

One eyebrow-raising detail from the divorce: there was no prenuptial agreement between Geffen and Armstrong. While that might sound like a jackpot scenario for Armstrong, TMZ reports that California law may not work entirely in his favor.

Because Geffen’s vast fortune — estimated at over $9 billion — is reportedly tied up in stocks and other equities, Armstrong may have limited legal claim to that wealth. California law generally considers such investments separate property unless specifically commingled.

As it stands, Armstrong could receive spousal support for half the duration of their brief marriage — but not a slice of the billionaire pie.

    Billionaire, Still Private

Despite his public legacy, Geffen continues to keep a low profile online. His Instagram (@davidgeffen) is verified but private, followed by just over 111,000 users.

Armstrong’s own social presence is far more minimal. With a largely inactive and unverified Instagram, it appears his post-Geffen digital footprint is just as elusive as his pre-Geffen one.

Whether this is the end of a whirlwind romance or just another chapter in Geffen’s storied life, one thing is clear: Billionaire breakups are rarely boring.

  • Kath Ebbs Opens Up About Breakup with JoJo Siwa: ‘I Feel Voiceless’

Kath Ebbs Opens Up About Breakup with JoJo Siwa: ‘I Feel Voiceless’

Australian actor, activist, and podcaster Kath Ebbs is speaking out for the first time since their highly publicized breakup with JoJo Siwa. In an interview with Betches, Ebbs reflects on the emotional toll of the split, the challenges of navigating public scrutiny, and the complexities of queer relationships in the spotlight.

    A Sudden and Public Split

The breakup occurred shortly after JoJo Siwa’s appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 2025. While in the house, Siwa formed a close bond with fellow contestant Chris Hughes, sparking rumors of a romantic connection. Upon exiting the show, Siwa ended her relationship with Ebbs at the afterparty, citing “confused feelings” and stating that Ebbs wasn’t the person she saw a future with.

    Kath Ebbs Speaks Out

In their interview, Ebbs describes the past weeks as the “most depressed I’ve been in six years, for real.” They express feeling overwhelmed by the public’s reaction and the lack of direct communication from Siwa. “There have been so many times in the past month when I’ve thought about disappearing when this all feels way too overwhelming,” Ebbs admits. “The person who used to be my support system has not only vanished but turned against me and allowed this behavior to continue towards me. Everyone’s talking about me, but not to me. I feel voiceless, and that’s a really big trigger for me because of things that I’ve grown up with.”

    The Impact of Public Scrutiny

Ebbs believes that the media’s treatment of their breakup is influenced by underlying homophobia. “I’m telling you right now, if Chris Hughes had a girlfriend or if he was even just casually seeing someone on the outside and was acting like that, I don’t know what kind of conversation we would be having,” they say. “I believe there is a small percentage of the conversation that is influenced by people’s either unconscious or conscious homophobia.”

The Role of Labels in Identity

The interview also touches on the complexities of sexual identity and the use of labels. Ebbs reflects on Siwa’s public shift from identifying as a lesbian to coming out as queer. “It’s easy to discuss sexual fluidity until it’s your partner on TV saying this stuff,” Ebbs says. “I think my boundaries were crossed in a way that felt like a betrayal of trust repeatedly around affection.”

    Moving Forward

Despite the challenges, Ebbs is focusing on healing and personal growth. They have been engaging in activities that bring them joy, such as line dancing, and are leaning on their support system. “I’m just heartbroken, and I’ve just gone through a really messy breakup that I didn’t see coming, and I’m in shock, and I’m picking up the pieces of my love life and of my life in that,” Ebbs shares.

    Who Is Kath Ebbs?

Beyond their relationship with Siwa, Kath Ebbs is a multifaceted individual with a significant presence in the Australian entertainment industry. They made history as the first non-binary character on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, portraying Asher Nesmith. Ebbs is also a podcaster, co-hosting I’ve Always Said That with fellow influencer Carmen Azzopardi, and a content creator with a strong following on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. They are known for their authenticity and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

As Kath Ebbs navigates the aftermath of their breakup with JoJo Siwa, they are committed to using their platform to share their journey and continue advocating for queer representation in media. Their resilience and dedication to authenticity serve as an inspiration to many facing similar challenges.

The couple addressed frequent questions and misconceptions about their dynamic, including confusion about whether they were father and son.

“Sometimes people make the outrageous claim that I was ‘groomed’ or something,” Stanley said. “But I was the one who pursued [LaBelle].”

The duo frequently brushed off external judgment. In one viral story reported by Page Six, Stanley described a Christmas tree shopping experience where a cashier assumed LaBelle was his father. Rather than correct her, LaBelle simply shook his head. “So I’m just like, ‘Yeah, yeah. That’s my dad,’” Stanley recalled.

    Support From Fellow Reality Stars

Fans and friends from the reality TV world quickly expressed their support in the comments section of LaBelle’s announcement post. Big Brother 23 runner-up Derek Frazier wrote, “I love you both,” while Squid Game: The Challenge contestant Dash Katz added, “Love y’all.”

Despite the breakup, LaBelle’s message emphasized mutual respect and continued admiration. As both he and Stanley move forward, their fans remain hopeful they’ll continue to thrive—individually and online.

Sasha Allen’s Bold New EP ‘Jawbreaker’ Is a Love Letter to Life, Music—and Adore Delano

Transgender singer-songwriter Sasha Allen has officially released his debut solo EP, Jawbreaker, a project years in the making and filled with personal lyrics, biting wit, and heartfelt moments. The Voice alum—who captured national attention in 2021 as part of the father-son duo Jim and Sasha Allen—emerges in full solo force on this release, with an equally powerful muse by his side: his girlfriend, fellow singer and RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Adore Delano.

Allen says the title track, “Jawbreaker,” inspired the name of the EP because of the way it captured a pivotal, life-changing moment—meeting Delano in late 2024. “Some of the songs on the EP I wrote many years ago, but this track symbolized something new and blossoming in my life,” he told Out in a recent interview.

“Jawbreaker” is more than just a clever title. As Allen explains, it reflects a duality. The word references a candy that’s hard to chew but sweet once you get through the shell, and it’s also used to describe complex, hard-to-pronounce words—a metaphor that fits perfectly for someone who’s navigated challenges around language, identity, and self-expression.

Born and raised in Newtown, Connecticut, Allen began his medical transition at 16 and has used music as a form of storytelling and healing ever since. His new EP, Jawbreaker, touches on everything from buried trauma to radical acceptance. On the track “Bones,” Allen sings about a future archeological dig where transgender socialists find the remains of people like him—and those who tried to erase their identities.

The EP is both personal and political. “When I Forgive You” stands out as one of the most emotionally rich songs, dedicated to Allen’s 90-year-old Catholic grandmother, Nancy Kennedy, who has shown him unconditional love. The song even includes a real voicemail from her. “If this person, who is so devout in her faith, can accept me just as I am, then there is so much room for more acceptance in the world,” Allen said.

The road to releasing Jawbreaker hasn’t been simple. After his time on The Voice, where he and his father were coached by Ariana Grande, Allen signed with Republic Records—part of the Universal Music Group umbrella. While it seemed like a dream come true, he soon found himself creatively stifled. “I was the smallest fish in the biggest pond,” Allen said. “It became the classic label story: lots of waiting, trying to change me, and not being heard.”

Enter Adore Delano. The two met on November 1, 2024, when Allen sent her a spontaneous DM. “Shoot your shot,” he jokes now. “I just did it, and it worked.” The connection was instant. Delano, a seasoned performer who’s experienced the ups and downs of the music industry herself, immediately saw Allen’s frustration and helped him see a way out. “She was like, ‘They shelved you. You need to get off that label,’” Allen recalled. “She gave me the courage to ask to be dropped.”

Within a week of leaving the label, Allen released “When I Forgive You” as the lead single and began building the rest of Jawbreaker from scratch—with a DIY setup in Delano’s closet. The EP includes two songs inspired directly by their relationship: the title track and “Kick Us Out Again,” which recounts the couple getting kicked out of a West Hollywood club for cuddling in a booth for three hours.

Their romance is more than just a love story—it’s also a partnership built on shared experiences as trans individuals. “I started transitioning when I was 16; she started at 33,” Allen said. “We talk about everything. It’s a really unique bond. We just get each other.”

As for how he made things official? In true romantic fashion, Allen proposed “Love Is Blind” style—getting down on one knee while joking about a broken dishwasher. “Very cheese ball,” he admits. “But she liked it.”

With Jawbreaker, Sasha Allen is not only reclaiming his artistic voice but also redefining what freedom and love look like as a young transgender artist. And as for the message he wants to share with trans youth today? “Do not let them steal your joy. There are people fighting for you, and life gets so much better.”

Sasha Allen’s Jawbreaker EP is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Amazon Music. Fans can also purchase official merchandise at SashaAllenMusic.com.
