Can you believe Jonathan Van Ness is on the cover of Cosmopolitan U.K.?
After Netflix‘s Queer Eye renewed the brand and made the Fab Five household names, Jonathan Van Ness skyrocketed to superstardom. Today, Cosmopolitan U.K. unveiled its latest issue featuring the hairstylist on the cover. While sitting for Cosmo‘s cover is a feat in itself, Van Ness is also the first non-female identifying person to cover the magazine in 35 years.
While the cover story hasn’t been published, a mysterious cover line accompanied the photo. “Yep,” the cover reads. “We did it. You’re welcome.” Also, the magazine suggested there’s more “JVN goodness coming your way from tomorrow.”

Van Ness, who came out as HIV positive and nonbinary earlier this year, sports a ruffled Christian Siriano gown and a pair of Nike sneakers.
According to Amy Grier, executive editor of Cosmopolitan U.K. and the author of the cover story, Van Ness opened up about “Brexit, Bake Off, Binaries, and Bernie Sanders.” Grier stated that the budding icon “did not disappoint in any way.”
