Justin Bieber welcomed a queer fan, who is struggling to find her place in religion, to his LGBTQ-inclusive church.
A short video of the pop star leaving his church service went viral. In the two-minute clip, Justin Bieber finds himself surrounded by fans outside his church, one of which describes her struggle with religion. She asks, “Isn’t your church like really inclusive of the gay community? Bieber promptly responds and declares that everyone is welcome.
The fan goes on to elaborate on her Catholic upbringing, saying “[I’m] trying to find a place that is inclusive of everybody.” She then reveals she recently came out as queer. “So, I’m trying to find a nice place. ‘Cause, like no one is nice. Everybody is so homophobic.”
