What is the new Spider-Man about?
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” chronicles the end of the “Home” franchise that began with “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. At the end of the second film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange for help regarding his secret identity and accidentally alters the multiverse. Sony provided the following synopsis:
“With Spider-Man’s identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. When Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Holland called the upcoming film the darkest in the trilogy. Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in the United States on December 17.
