‘Survivor’ And OnlyFans Star Ozzy Lusth Comes Out As Bisexual

Lusth has a message for LGBTQ+ Republicans.

This is not a drill. Ozzy Lusth, of Survivor and OnlyFans fame, has officially come out publicly as bisexual. For those of you who follow Lusth closely on social media, this may come as little to no surprise. For casual queer Survivor fans, and for gay Twitter in general, this is a cause for celebration.

Who is Ozzy Lusth?

Lusth is best known for his appearance on Survivor: Cook Islands where he placed second. Lusth was a fan favorite on the show back in 2006. So much so that he returned for later seasons in Micronesia, the South Pacific, and Survivor: Game Changers. Beloved as he was, the closest he would get to winning in these subsequent seasons is fourth place in the South Pacific. That didn’t stop Lusth from finding his audience. The reality show veteran passionately advocates for trans and Indigenous rights on his Instagram and launched an OnlyFans in January of 2021. The Survivor star is also outspoken about sex workers’ rights. Lusth is no stranger to sex work, having worked as a stripper on the side before moving to Los Angeles.

Oh, and did we mention that he used to date Lindsay Lohan?

Lusth Comes Out

As we mentioned, if you’ve been following along, you may have seen this coming. Lusth has been an outspoken ally to trans folks, as well as a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. This wouldn’t mean much on its own, of course. You can do all of this and not be queer. Throw in the fact that he posted a video of himself in the shower with two other guys last year and you start to see what we mean.

All jokes aside, if you haven’t yet started to see Lusth’s appeal, perhaps you can appreciate that he used his coming out as a takedown for republicans. Lusth took to Twitter to tell is followers, and “Republican Colleagues,” that he’s bisexual. “Am I committing crimes? If so come get me. Let us ALL live with dignity,” Lusth wrote.

The Fans Respond

The star faced some minor blowback from this tweet, with one user saying “lots of conservatives are loving and accepting of LGBT”. To which Lusth responded saying that too many “sit idle and support leaders who spew hate”. Lusth is likely pointing to the wave of Republican-backed anti-LGBTQ+ legislation sweeping the nation. Florida’s infamous Don’t Say Gay bill was passed with a 12-8 margin. Only one Republican state senator voted against the bill.

Despite this, the majority of the response was positive. In one tweet, Lusth joked that the only question his fans have now is whether he’s a “Top or Top?”

Congratulations on this momentous moment Ozzy! If you’d like to wish him well, check out his OnlyFans and support his work. You know…just to wish him well.
