Target is back with another round of Pride merchandise, but this time, they’ve teamed up with TomboyX and Humankind.

The new inclusive Target Pride collection features the usual rainbow-colored outerwear and accessories we expect from the department store. While many shoppers are excited to see a variety of identities included in the line, the collaborations with TomboyX and Humankind have our attention.

Target Starts Selling Compression Tops, Packing Shorts and Swimwear

Working alongside TomboyX, Target is now selling compression tops and packing underwear online and in-store in various colors. TomboyX is known for providing the community with “underwear that any body could feel comfortable in, regardless of where they fell on the size or gender spectrum.” For anyone not familiar with these products, compression tops help individuals reduce their chest’s appearance to relieve gender dysphoria. Packing underwear is also gender-affirming and includes a prosthetic that provides the wearer with the appearance of a bulge in their shorts.

Target also has a new gender-neutral swimwear line with Humankind that includes unisuits, swim trunks, and swim tops.

We’re so excited to see a chain store like Target helping normalize genderless clothing and bridge the gap between the LGBTQIA+ community and access to these products. Hopefully, their example influences other outlets to bring inclusive clothing to their stores.

Target’s Pride collection also includes a kid’s line with shirts, rompers, skirts, and more available for all genders. The items come in several sizes, including baby onesies that feature slogans like “my first pride.”
