Everyone is talking about the recent controversy around actor Tom Holland and his portrayal of Danny Sullivan in the Apple TV+ show, The Crowded Room. Some homophobes are angered by a gay love scene featured in the series, while others defend Holland, stating actors can play diverse roles.

The criticism centers on the belief that people who play superheroes in family-oriented movies (like Holland in Marvel’s “Spiderman”) should not be taking on queer roles. Many critics praise Holland’s performance, but detractors express their opposition strongly. Despite the backlash, Holland remains dedicated to his craft.
