Jillian Michaels is engaged!
Fitness trainer Jillian Michaels popped the question to her girlfriend DeShanna Marie Minuto on Saturday with a gorgeous seven-carat emerald cut diamond ring.
In an exclusive with People magazine, Michaels described her fiancée as “beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky and passionate.” Though she said those are all characteristics that attract her to someone, she went on to say “it’s the quality of their character that makes you think ‘Thank God for this person laying next to me’ every night when you fall asleep.’”

Michaels has been dating the fashion designer for just over three years and shared an anniversary post on Instagram in October.
She captioned the post, “’We are all asleep until we find love’ Happy Anniversary I adore you.”

Michaels said relationships are challenging when life gets messy, but credits Minuto for always being “strong beyond measure, wise beyond her years, and loving beyond my wildest dreams.”

Michaels was previously engaged to Heidi Rhoades who she shares two children, 11-year-old Lukensia and 9-year-old Phoenix. The two split in 2018.
