Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock Reunite for ‘Practical Magic 2’ in First Look from the Set

The witches are back, and the magic is just getting started.

Nicole Kidman has shared the very first peek behind the scenes of Practical Magic 2, and longtime fans of the 1998 cult classic are already under its spell. The Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram to post a heartfelt video of her and co-star Sandra Bullock on set, officially kicking off production of the much-anticipated sequel.

“The witches are back,” Kidman wrote in the caption. “The Owens sisters’ first day on set!”

    A Magical Reunion

In the brief video, Kidman and Bullock embrace in front of a cemetery headstone, an appropriately spooky and sentimental setting for the return of the Owens sisters, Gillian and Sally. Their on-screen bond, which captured hearts more than two decades ago, remains as enchanting as ever.

The original Practical Magic, based on Alice Hoffman’s novel, followed two orphaned sisters raised by their eccentric witchy aunts. Together, they navigate love, loss, and the deadly consequences of a family curse that dooms any man they fall in love with. While plot details for the sequel are under wraps, the film is reportedly inspired by one of Hoffman’s later entries in the Practical Magic book series.

A Cast Worth Casting a Spell For

Kidman and Bullock aren’t the only familiar faces returning to the screen. Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing will reprise their beloved roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances, respectively, two characters who’ve been internet meme queens long before that was even a thing.

And joining this coven of powerhouses is a new generation of stars: Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies), Joey King (The Kissing Booth, The Act), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle), and Solly McLeod (The Dead Don’t Hurt). King is reportedly playing the daughter of Bullock’s character, Sally.

A Powerful Team Behind the Camera

Practical Magic 2 is directed by Susanne Bier, whose previous collaborations with both Kidman (The Undoing, The Perfect Couple) and Bullock (Bird Box) promise a thoughtful and emotionally resonant tone. The script is penned by Akiva Goldsman, who co-wrote the original screenplay, alongside Succession writer Georgia Pritchett. With this mix of returning talent and fresh creative minds, the sequel has all the ingredients for a modern magical classic.

Mark Your Calendars (and Your Spellbooks)

Practical Magic 2 will hit theaters on September 18, 2026. With Kidman and Bullock back in black (and likely cloaks), a powerhouse cast, and a fanbase more enchanted than ever, the sequel is shaping up to be a major moment in movie magic.

  • Pedro Pascal Shuts Down Rowling, Defends Trans Rights, and Reflects on Fame at 50

Pedro Pascal Shuts Down Rowling, Defends Trans Rights, and Reflects on Fame at 50

Pedro Pascal has long held the internet’s gaze with smoldering charm, scene-stealing performances, and that irresistible “daddy” aura fans can’t get enough of. But in a new cover story for Vanity Fair, the 50-year-old star makes one thing clear: he’s not here to be your meme, he’s here to take a stand, particularly when it comes to protecting his loved ones.

Standing Up to Rowling, Standing With His Sister

Pascal didn’t hold back when responding to J.K. Rowling’s recent post celebrating a U.K. Supreme Court ruling that limited the legal definition of “woman” to biological sex. The Harry Potter author marked the decision with a smug post of herself sipping from a drink, captioned “I love it when a plan comes together.” For Pascal, the gesture struck a nerve.

“That’s heinous loser behavior,” he commented on an Instagram post, plainly stating how harmful such rhetoric is to the trans community. Pascal’s advocacy isn’t performative, it comes from a deeply personal place. His younger sister Lux came out as transgender in 2021, and Pascal’s protectiveness over her has only sharpened in the face of rising anti-trans sentiment.

“Bullies make me fucking sick,” he said. “It’s a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen.”

His sister Javiera echoed the sentiment: “He said that as the older brother to someone saying that our little sister doesn’t exist.” The internet’s daddy, it turns out, is also a fiercely loyal big brother.

    Rumors, Romance, and Red Carpets

As with most public figures, Pascal hasn’t been immune to online drama. When a Comic-Con clip circulated showing him holding co-star Vanessa Kirby’s hand, critics tried spinning it as inappropriate. Kirby shut it down immediately, saying they were just nervous before walking out on stage and that the gesture was comforting, not creepy.

Pascal brushed off the kerfuffle with the same quiet confidence that’s helped him navigate Hollywood’s chaos for over two decades. That self-assurance is also evident when it comes to questions about his love life—or lack thereof.

Despite public curiosity, Pascal has never officially confirmed a relationship. “I always feel perplexed when I’m identified in the media as a ‘highly private person,’ because that’s the opposite of me,” he said. He’s open with loved ones and close friends but prefers to keep the internet out of his business. As for kids? He’s not actively planning for them but admits, “I’ve had dreams of taking my kids to the movies like my parents took me.”

From Action Star to Romantic Lead (Even With a Sling)

Pascal has played everything from a gun-slinging protector in The Mandalorian to a gritty survivor in The Last of Us. But his latest turn in the upcoming romantic comedy Materialists pushed him out of his comfort zone in more ways than one.

When filming began, Pascal was still recovering from a dislocated shoulder after a fall down the stairs. “It was the weakest I’d ever felt,” he said. “It was such a scary, fraudulent thing to feel like I could play somebody who was the catch of Manhattan.”

Despite his self-doubt, he pulled it off with aplomb. When the interviewer told him he looked good on screen, Pascal sighed in relief: “You think I’m hot in it? Thank God!”

    Aging, Acting, and Acceptance

Approaching 50 brought a wave of introspection for Pascal, who confessed to struggling with feelings of irrelevance and physical decline. An injury on the Gladiator II set and years of avoiding birthday celebrations since his mother’s passing added to the emotional weight.

So this year, he reclaimed it. Pascal threw a multiday birthday bash in London, where family and friends toasted him with martinis and a slideshow tribute from Lux brought him to tears. “When you feel seen like I did that night, you feel touched by magic,” he said.

Pascal may joke about being too old to headline a movie, but fans, and fellow stars like Robert Downey Jr., disagree. Downey called Pascal’s rise a reminder that the industry still rewards authenticity and talent: “His slow trajectory to becoming a household name who is on a wildly hot streak kind of reaffirms my faith in our industry.”

    More Than a Meme

Pedro Pascal might play reluctant heroes on screen, but in real life, he’s leading with his heart. Whether defending his sister, stepping into new film roles, or simply making space for vulnerability, Pascal is proving that depth, kindness, and conviction are far sexier than any internet nickname.

Yes, he’s still your daddy. But more importantly, he’s someone worth listening to.

Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan Redefine Love with and Traditions That are Uniquely Theirs

Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan are more than just a handsome Hollywood couple—they’re a modern queer love story redefining what it means to build a life together, one joyful tradition at a time.

    From Interview to “I Do”

Their journey began in 2016 when Vaughan, then a TV host, interviewed Bennett to promote Halloween Wars. Bennett later revealed that he felt an immediate connection, asking a producer, “Am I about to meet my future husband?” Vaughan, on the other hand, felt a spark during a photo they took together.

The couple got engaged in 2020, with Vaughan composing and performing an original song for the proposal. They married in March 2022 in a beachside ceremony in Mexico, surrounded by 104 friends and family members.

    Crafting New Traditions

Bennett and Vaughan have been intentional about creating traditions that reflect their unique bond. They designed custom engagement rings with Kay Jewelers, featuring diamonds that face outward during engagement and inward after marriage, symbolizing their shared journey.

They’re making new memories on trips like they did this Memorial Day weekend to Palm Springs. Jonathan sported a fiery, red speedo and even posted to Instagram, “Got into my husband’s swimsuit drawer.” To which his husband commented, “I zoomed.” Perhaps a new tradition in the making?

Charli XCX Celebrates 5 Years of How I’m Feeling Now With New ‘Party 4 U’ Music Video

It’s been five years since Charli XCX dropped her boundary-pushing quarantine album How I’m Feeling Now, and the pop provocateur is throwing a proper celebration—with a brand-new music video for fan-favorite track “party 4 u,” dropping May 15.

In a handwritten note posted to Instagram on Wednesday, the genre-blending star got reflective about her 2020 DIY-era record, which she wrote and produced in just five weeks during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Honestly just feels like yesterday,” she wrote. “So much has changed since then: me, my life, elements of my music and most definitely the world.”

    Pandemic Pop, Reborn

Though How I’m Feeling Now wasn’t a chart-topping release—it peaked at No. 111 on the Billboard 200—it has long held cult status among Charli’s fans. Created in full lockdown, with real-time input from fans via livestreams and social media, the album became a raw, glitchy, and emotional time capsule.

“I felt like I rediscovered myself, my sanity and my connection with the world at a time when we were all so alone,” Charli wrote.

“Party 4 U” Finds New Life

Fast forward to 2025, and How I’m Feeling Now is having a moment—again. One track in particular, “party 4 u,” has recently gone viral on TikTok, sending it soaring onto the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time—five years after its release. On the chart dated May 17, 2025, it reached No. 55, giving the track its highest peak yet.

Never one to let a moment pass quietly, Charli teased a brand-new music video for the song, sharing a cryptic close-up video of her eyes set to the track, captioned: “5 years later… the party 4 u video. tomorrow.”

A Celebration Fit for the Angels

The singer also posted a TikTok of herself sprinting down a deserted street clutching pink balloons—a visual easter egg pulled directly from the lyrics of “party 4 u.” In her handwritten note, she wrote, “I really can’t believe that 5 years later one of the Angel favorites is having its own special moment.”

“So obviously I wanted to do something to celebrate,” she added. “This one’s for you Angels.”

    A Charli Year to Remember

The fifth anniversary of How I’m Feeling Now comes at a busy time for the Essex-born artist. Fresh off back-to-back weekends at Coachella 2025—where she performed “party 4 u” and shared the stage with Lorde, Troye Sivan, and Billie Eilish for Brat remix collabs—Charli just wrapped four sold-out nights at Barclays Center in Brooklyn as part of her Brat Tour.

She heads next to Europe, starting with a show in Poland on May 31.

This AI-Generated Twink Is Breaking the Internet, But He’s Not Even Real

A new digital darling is lighting up Instagram and X—and he’s not even flesh and blood. Meet @leo.boy2005, the chiseled, wide-eyed “French” twink with washboard abs, a pout that could stop traffic, and the uncanny ability to exist in multiple time zones without breaking a sweat. There’s just one catch: Leo isn’t human. He’s an AI-generated mirage, and somehow, people are still falling in love.

    Yes, really.

From sculpted selfies to sultry Parisian strolls, Leo is engineered to be irresistible. But behind the well-lit thirst traps and soft-focus croissants lies a very synthetic secret.

    Perfect Face, Slightly Suspicious Vibes

At first glance, Leo looks like your typical gay influencer: soft curls, glistening pecs, and captions that teeter between soap opera and self-help. But a closer look reveals… anomalies. Think hovering baguettes. Limbs bending like rubber. Burgers transforming mid-bite. It’s like watching a dream and then realizing it was rendered on a graphics card.

    A post shared by Leo ⚡️ (@leo.boy2005)

Leo doesn’t just look good, he looks computer-optimized. His jawline could slice cheese. His abs have more definition than a spelling bee. Even his pores seem to glisten with the kind of precision you only get from GPU rendering.

    And that’s the point.

AI influencers like Leo are designed to hit every aesthetic checkbox. Symmetrical face? Check. Perfect lighting at all times? Check. Just enough mystery to keep you doom-scrolling? Absolutely. He’s not here to represent reality—he’s here to outperform it.

In fact, Leo isn’t just a thirst trap. He’s a social experiment wrapped in a shirtless selfie: How close can artificial beauty come to replacing the real thing before we start questioning our own taste?

If this is what queer perfection looks like in the metaverse, maybe it’s time to re-download Grindr just to feel something analog again.

A Baguette That Betrayed It All

So what tipped off the internet sleuths? A picnic-perfect clip of Leo prancing around Paris with a backpack full of baguettes. Chic? Absolutely. Believable? Not so much. The bread never moves (like, at all). Not even a bounce. It’s baguette Botox.

In another scene, Leo appears to eat a burger, only for the toothpick in it to shapeshift into a fry halfway through the bite. Charming? Perhaps. Realistic? Not even a little.

    The Perpetually Legal Teenager

Adding to the unease is Leo’s age, or rather, his elastic relationship with it. He claims to be 19, born in 2005. Elsewhere, he’s listed as born in 2006. Some users joke that he’s stuck in a digital puberty loop, like a synthetic Peter Pan of OnlyFans.

    Where Thirst Meets the Future

Leo isn’t the first digital influencer to spark online debate, but he may be the thirstiest. He’s also a warning shot for the queer internet: not every jawline is attached to a jaw. In a world of ever-evolving AI, it’s harder than ever to tell who’s real and who’s just well-rendered.

So, if your latest crush seems too perfect to be true, maybe check the bread. If it’s floating, that follow might come with a side of Photoshop.

  • ‘White Lotus’ Star Jon Gries Gets Playful — and Shirtless — in New Jacquemus Campaign

‘White Lotus’ Star Jon Gries Gets Playful — and Shirtless — in New Jacquemus Campaign

You’ve never seen Greg from The White Lotus like this.

Jon Gries, best known for his role as the scheming Greg Hunt (aka “Gary”) in HBO’s The White Lotus, is turning heads in a way fans didn’t see coming. At 67, the veteran actor has stripped down — literally — for a vibrant and cheeky new fashion campaign by Jacquemus, and let’s just say… he’s giving “daddy” in a way that even Tanya McQuoid might appreciate.

The French label, known for its surrealist flair and viral runway moments, tapped Gries for a campaign that feels like a crossover between high fashion and a quirky daydream. In the photos, Gries is seen shirtless, banana-print boxers peeking out from under his low-rise jeans, topped with a Jacquemus jacket and a bold sunhat. He’s serving laid-back louche meets European vacation dad — and it works.

In another image, he’s seen golfing in loungewear, nibbling on an actual banana, or lounging while fully suited. It’s an unexpected, joyful twist on masculinity, and Gries leans into the moment with a confidence and charm that reminds us: aging is not the enemy — especially not in fashion.

A Gay Icon in the Making?

While Greg Hunt may not have officially come out on The White Lotus, queer fans of the show have long speculated about his sexuality — and his motivations. In season two, his relationship with the flamboyant Quentin (played by Tom Hollander) raised more than a few eyebrows. By season three, Greg is reportedly dating a young model named Chloe (played by Charlotte Le Bon) while engaging in voyeuristic fantasies involving other men.

Is Greg queer? The show doesn’t give us a straight answer (no pun intended), but Jon Gries has acknowledged that Greg is complex and morally gray. “He has no interest in having friendships,” Gries said in a previous interview. “Everything was on a contract basis with him. He wants control.”

Queer-coded villain? Repressed bisexual? Emotionally unavailable straight man? Whatever Greg is, he’s messy — and we love that for him.

And while Gries isn’t explicitly discussing sexuality in this campaign, the visual language is deeply queer. Banana motifs? A little skin? Gender play with clothing and presentation? Check, check, and check. In fact, the shoot feels like a wink to queer fans who’ve had their eye on Greg (or at least his motives) since season one.

Jacquemus Knows the Gays Are Watching

Jacquemus, founded by Simon Porte Jacquemus in 2009, has long drawn inspiration from queer culture and art. The label blends high fashion with humor, minimalism with excess, and classic French silhouettes with Mediterranean warmth. Think: camp meets couture. Past campaigns have included same-sex couples, sensuality across the gender spectrum, and a healthy dose of absurdity — so casting Jon Gries? Inspired.

According to Jacquemus’ official brand description, the label “references a French way of life and universal gestures of beauty: from fine art photography to the decorative arts, cinema, painting, and sculpture.” The Gries campaign adds a dose of generational appeal and an “older man chic” energy that’s often missing from mainstream fashion campaigns.

It’s refreshing to see a brand so openly embrace an unconventional muse, especially one who defies the usual standards of youth, abs, and influencer clout. Gries may not be the first person who comes to mind when you think of high fashion — but maybe that’s the point.

Greg Is the Only Constant in ‘The White Lotus’ Universe

Gries remains the only actor to appear in all three seasons of The White Lotus, and his character’s evolution (or, arguably, unraveling) has become one of the show’s juiciest subplots. His first-season arc saw him fall into a whirlwind romance with Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge, in her Emmy-winning role). Season two pulled back the curtain to reveal something far more sinister — and possibly queer — beneath the surface.

Season three, which premieres later this year, promises even more twists. Rumor has it Greg is dating a model and exploring a cuckolding kink that involves watching her with other men. Honestly? That’s growth — in a very White Lotus kind of way.

    Queer Aging, Reframed

Gries’ campaign arrives at a time when conversations around aging — particularly in queer and fashion spaces — are becoming more visible. There’s often a toxic emphasis on youth in both industries, but campaigns like this one help shift the narrative. You don’t have to be 25 with a six-pack to be sexy, stylish, or subversive.

In fact, Gries’ presence in the campaign challenges outdated standards of desirability. He’s not the punchline — he’s the look. And that, especially for queer audiences who are used to seeing older men erased or mocked, feels radical.

Whether or not Greg Hunt is gay, and whether or not Jon Gries is on your fashion radar, one thing is clear: the man knows how to serve a look. And in the world of Jacquemus, that’s more than enough.

In the words of Tanya McQuoid: “You’re not just a pretty face… but you’re definitely not boring.”

The post was accompanied by hashtags including #ILexiLoveYou, #StrongerThanEver, and #WatchMeRise.

Love quickly became a standout contestant on Drag Race Season 17. She entered the competition as a full-time performer at Play Dance Bar in Louisville, where she built a devoted following. In the second episode of the season premiere, she performed a roller-skating number to her original track “She’s Giving,” drawing praise from judges, fellow contestants and fans alike.

She ultimately reached the top four of the competition and delivered a powerful solo number to her original song “Classic” during the finale.

Love’s vulnerability and authenticity on screen resonated with viewers throughout the season. Despite early struggles with self-doubt, she earned two challenge wins and was never in the bottom two. Her breakthrough came during the season’s stand-up comedy challenge in episode 12, where she secured her second win and a spot in the finale.

While Love’s decision to step away has surprised some fans, the response to her announcement has been overwhelmingly supportive. Many have commended her for prioritizing her health and sharing her journey openly.

Though no timeline has been given for her return, Love’s message made clear that this is not the end of her drag career.

Robert Irwin Joins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34 Shirtless, Snake-Wrapped, and Ready to Slay

Dancing With the Stars is already heating up ahead of its 34th season, and it’s all thanks to its first official cast reveal: Robert Irwin, Australian wildlife warrior and certified heartthrob, is headed to the ballroom.

The 21-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin — famously known as the “Crocodile Hunter” — made quite the entrance at Hulu’s Get Real House event on Tuesday, April 22. In true showman style, Irwin appeared shirtless, draped in a live snake, and gave a cheeky nod to two iconic pop culture moments: Britney Spears’ legendary 2001 MTV VMA performance and the cult-favorite 1994 Australian queer film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Yes, the snake’s name was Priscilla. Yes, Robert Irwin is here to serve looks, nostalgia, and some serious moves.

DWTS co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, along with judge Derek Hough, introduced Irwin as the season’s first contestant, much to the crowd’s delight. The announcement quickly spread across social media, thanks to a flurry of Instagram Stories capturing Irwin’s bold entrance and backstage moments.

Julianne Hough even got in on the slithery fun, wrapping Priscilla the snake around her neck and channeling full Britney Spears fantasy as Irwin stood by, supervising like a true wildlife pro.

The moment wasn’t just pure camp — it was a love letter to Irwin’s roots and queer Aussie cinema, with the DWTS crew clearly in on the fun. For fans, it was an announcement that delivered on drama, humor, and undeniable charisma.

And of course, this isn’t the first time the Irwin family has graced the DWTS stage.

Robert’s sister, Bindi Irwin, competed in Season 21 back in 2015 and stole the hearts of viewers worldwide. Paired with none other than Derek Hough, Bindi went on to win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, making her one of the most beloved champions in DWTS history.

“10 years in the making,” Derek Hough wrote in an Instagram Story featuring throwback clips of him and Bindi dancing their way to the top.

Robert’s arrival now feels like a full-circle moment for the Irwin family — and for fans who followed Bindi’s emotional journey a decade ago.

More recently, Robert Irwin has been turning heads with steamy modeling campaigns and a growing presence in the fashion world. But it looks like he’s trading in the billboards and bushland for ballroom glitz and glitter.

And if his debut appearance is any indication, Irwin is bringing the charm, the cheekbones, and a whole lot of Aussie flair to the dance floor.

Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars will premiere soon across Disney+, Hulu, and ABC. With Irwin already making waves as the first confirmed contestant, fans can expect a wild — and wildly entertaining — season ahead.
