The wait is over; DeGeneres returns to the stage for her new Netflix special Ellen DeGeneres: RelatableΒ on December 18.

In a trailer for the new special, DeGeneres jokes about how she created the showβs name.
βA friend of mine was at my house, and I told him, βIβm going to do stand-up again,’ and he said, βReally?β and I said, βI was hoping for more than a βreally,’ and he said, βWell, do you think youβre still relatable?β Just then two of my butlers stepped into the library.β
Ellen DeGeneres: Relatable, which was filmed at Seattleβs Benaroya Hall, will be available to stream on Netflix on December 18.
