Panic! At The Disco amped up The Greatest Showman’s opening number even more.
Panic! At The Disco (aka the Brendon Urie band) reimagined the track for the upcoming “The Greatest Showman – Reimagined” soundtrack. Earlier this year, Urie came out as pansexual.
The 31-year-old opened up about his sexuality. “I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person,” he explained.
“Yeah, I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care. If a person is great, then a person is great. I just like good people, if your heart’s in the right place. I’m definitely attracted to men. It’s just people that I am attracted to.”
“I guess this is me coming out as pansexual.”
The forthcoming album will also feature covers by Kesha, Kelly Clarkson, Years & Years, and Jess Glynne. It’s set for release on iTunes and streaming services on November 16. Years & Years and Jess Glynne joined for “Come Alive” and Kelly Clarkson stepped into Loren Allred’s shoes for the smash hit “Never Enough”.
