Your gay Spidey sense is about to tingle.
Last Friday, Marvel officially released the new Spider-Man video game for PlayStation 4, and so far gamers around the world love the play. Many gaymers are even more excited about Marvel’s Spider-Man‘s most colorful Easter egg: a rainbow-colored Pride flag.
The rainbow flag, which was noticed first by fantasy writer Saladin Ahmed, can be seen in several places in the game. Ahmed took to Twitter to share the news and celebrate his find.

“Wow. I stopped to perch on a building in #SpiderManps4 and looked over and saw this,” he tweeted. “Thinking about all the 12-year-old kids who will be playing this game and seeing this in towns where it’s not safe to put that flag up.”
“Not saying that it’s some radical move, but just as someone who came up 30 years ago playing Spider-Man video games with boys who constantly hurled homophobic insults at each other IRL this is … different,” he added.
Naturally, Ahmed’s tweet went viral as Spidey fans around the world showed their support for the small but meaningful gesture.
